One of the weaker tracks from Your Arsenal, and certainly lacking in lyrical oomph.
Morrissey used to live in the Battersea area of west London, famous for its defunct power station (featuring on Pink Floyd and The Orb albums) where Morrissey played a concert the last time he was in the UK. Disappointingly, the actual venue is a temporary structure next to the hollowed-out power station, so the atmosphere is lost a little (more than made up for by the atmosphere of a Morrissey concert, of course).
