    Default Food For Thought

The time between the releases of Satan Rejected My Soul and this "yet to be announced" single of is longer than the time between the releases of Hand In Glove and Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me. (Four years and seven months for the Smiths, Four Years and ten months for the hiatus.) In other words, Morrissey's hiatus will be longer than the Smiths recording career.

Which might make it one of the most interesting albums of his career!

Since he's stepped behind the curtain for awhile, he's probably changed
a bit. He's probably got a lot of songs written and can pick only the
best of them for the album. He's probably feeling pressure to make this
one extra special. All I can say is, I have no idea what to expect,
but I'm pretty sure I'll be surprised. I just hope pleasantly.

And...as for the media, you know how they always like to change their minds.
They've already done the backlash against him, so now the pendulum might go
the other way...everyone realizing they've missed him and he's cool after all.

After this long wait I hope he does something extra for the album. Like maybe
record a show on this tour and throwing a bonus live CD in with the studio album.
