I firmly believe that there are 2 kinds of Smiths fans, the ones who simply like great music and can appreciate good lyrics, and the other being where evrything hits home very hard indeed. I suggest you, like most Smiths/Moz fans are in the former. And just before anyone gets on their high horse, it doesn't make anyone more superior to anyone else, like some form of "high art", what a load of shite that is eh, "high art" the beourgeois gits.

Well, his lyrics are a good example of anthropology. it's about rituals, and can be more than easy fun for teens or pop music lovers in general. I couldn't see any other way to love them (the smiths) but seeing the band, and Moz especially as a form of extremally refined art. Snob? Maybe.
