The Sweeney or Inspector Morse ?

Seen as John Thaw died yesterday, I thought I'd conduct a vote which one do you prefer of the 2 polar opposites.

The Sweeney - "We're the Sweeney, and we ain't had our breakfast"

or

Inspector Morse - "For the last time Lewis will you shut up"

I like them both but The Sweeney gets my vote, if only for its nostalgic value.

For being the only two British policemen to carry guns at all times.

The did n't really say "Shut IT!" all the time though did they.

The Sweeney was and still is fantastic. The two films that were made might not go down as the greatest in film history but I enjoyed them. (Dennis Waterman was seen driving a gold Vauxhall Chevette in Sweeney 2)

They do say when Banging em Dave and myself are together we do look like Carter and Regan!
