I just read that Chris talked to Morrissey yesterday. Morrissey mentioned he might be touring this April! You gotta love Chris for all he is doing on his site, and for getting this interview with Morrissey. Chris thanks again for everything and congratulations on meeting Morrissey. I just love all the pictures that you took as well, those were just beautiful.

You rock.

Re: Morrissey Touring in April?

You sure he didn't say "I'll be scouring (as in pans) in April"?
Well let's hope he's doing the good thing & lets the pans soak over spring.

But, for heaven's sake, pictures of his HOUSE?!

I don't wish to denigrate Chris or Jeff since their experience is one that any Morrissey fan would dream to have. Be that as it may, isn't it a bit irresponsible to post a picture that gives a pretty clear view of the facade of Morrissey's house? I can't imagine Morrissey wants to have his gates become a Graceland-like circus. It's one thing to have these one or two odd run-ins with dedicated fans, but if people begin actively seeking his house out (friend or foe), it becomes an invasion of privacy. Besides, if Morrissey wanted you to know what his house looks like outside, Linder would have had exterior shots in the Bracewell article two years ago.

Sorry to sound so puritanical, but let the man have his privacy. You still have the songs.

Cheers,

Jamie

Re: Morrissey Touring in April?

Oh Christ, not again. Were'nt you the same person who got mad because he actually showed it the last time on his site? I'm not saying what you said is wrong, but actually trying to figure out his house out of the million others near it is like finding a needle in a haystack. Chris made it clear to not say anything about what street he lives on. I hope this is the end to this topic, because if it goes any longer then its just a waste of space. And last time he did take it off by the way, for the sake of the few who wouldn't shut there mouth about it. As he said "Let it go"

Re: Give it a rest, won't you?

a house is but a house. and if he's familiar enough with the net to say what a bunch of air heads we are, i'm sure he knows enough that some guy who runs a website put a pic of his house up...and even after chris introduced himself, moz kept right on talking to them.

so it makes you wonder.

As a matter of fact, it wasn't me.

I didn't realise that he had posted a picture of the house previously, which heightens the irresponsibility of this episode. You have your feelings on the matter, as do I. But, as per usual, the dissenting opinion on Morrissey-solo gets roundly slagged. So it goes...

Cheers,

Jamie
