Those letters are widely available to read from various sites including some threads posted in general discussion forum, value is only the cost of photocopy and postage.

You are sort of right Phill. I was told that Mackie photo-copied all his letters and made them into little booklets. He then stamped the front to show they were the original copies of his letters. Therefore only those with the red stamp on the front are the original copies of the originals......is this making sense

Yes that makes sense.... they are original copies of photocopied letters that was turned into a 'fanzine style' publication!

I have decided to have a bid on this and i do think its an origional copy if that makes sense. It would have been so easy to just colour photocopy the cover. Its a shame that Robert hadnt signed and numvered them. I dont think that it will sell for more than about 20 quid.
