What are Canadians? I've been there many times and they truly have no identity of their own. They've completely latched onto the american way of life. Drive through any neighborhood anywhere in Canada and you'd swear you were lost somewhere in the states. Sure, there's some European charm here and there, but the bulk of it's american. Most of the same stores and restuarants, neighborhoods look the same, cars are mostly american. Aside from Tim Horton's Donuts, what's there that's their own? The only things that tell you you're in a foreign country are the English/French signs and the flimsy yet pleasantly colorful currency.
Even Canadians don't know who they are. Try having a conversation with a Canadian, it gets confusing! Every sentence ends sounding like a question. And what's with the "Eh?" at the end of every other sentence? Are they just desperately unsure of themselves or really that stupid?
Other than Rocky & Bullwinkle, what have they given us? Shania Twain? Alanis Morrisette? Puh-lease!!
On the plus side, they do know how to party!
