I work for the Council taking telephone calls from people who can't get in their drives because someone else has parked their's across it - stuff like that. Also quite common is "can you reduce the speed limit where I live?", which is just as popular as "You bloody idiots, what do you think you're doing wasting tax payer's money reducing speed limits". Lots of people seem to want speed cameras to catch OTHER drivers.

I work at a Talent Agency. I originally came in to work in the Music Department, but have been re-planted in Motion Picture Talent Department. And I dont care about Actors so it is dull. I am an assistant to an Agent and I type letters and answer the phone and listen to gossip about an industry I care nothing about.

I'm about to start work as a
*GASP*
W A I T R E S S ! ! ! !
I've never done it before, but given my college schedule, I can no longer work a 9-5 office job and I need to make some fast cash in as little time as possible.
It's one of those chain restaurants (Italian-American) and I have to wear a blue button-down shirt with khaki pants.
"Deliver me from LL Bean."
Any waiters/waitresses out there?
Do you have any advice for a timid, uncoordinated little twit who's just about to enter the wonderful, exciting and fast-paced world of food service?
Shall I just say "screw it" and get a job at the mall?
sod allbut thanks
When you are walking with food and someone gets in front of you, Say very loudly "Behind you!".
