You should be ashamed to advocate eating meat on this website.

At least, keep quiet about it. OK?

You can fight human rights on millions of other wbesites - not on Morrissey solo.
You inflexible opinions give vegetarians a bad name.Do you ostracise your own family and friends if they are carnivores?Your'e going it hard because people will never ever stop eating meat as long as the human race survives.

Look to your own conscience and let people take care of their own.

And don't even try and lecture me because flesh hasn't passed my lips for 27 years.
.....in a snow filled sky, we'll make it all right to come undone.

Morrissey solo: I thought this website was about promoting vegetarianism and challenging people's views. In the end of the day, this is a website for Morrissey who is a strict (or the strictest) vegetarian who does not allow meat products at his concerts.

I did not mean to offend anyone on this website but obviously my comments angered the meat eaters on this website.

Do you know morrissey-solo.com is an unofficial (private) fan site?

Morrissey is well known for supporting vegetarianism (however, he doesn't like being called a vegetarian).
Morrissey successfully convinced some people who listen to his music to become a vegetarian, but not all of them.

We could discuss Morrissey's vegetarianism & sexuality here untill the cows come home. But what is the point? The man hates the smell of meat at and near his shows.

    I won't argue.

We all know that. But why would that bother me, personally?
And I heard so many things I failed to understand at all

I seriously don't understand why I should or would want to change my habits for a complete stranger whose music I love and whose art I admire.

...but I fully agree with Morrissey's views: No meat at the concert venues.

Surely you can wait for the burger after the concert has finished? There is bound to be McDonalds somewhere nearby the venue where they sell dead animals.
    Meat is vile.

No, actually simplistic views like yours are vile. I have absolutely nothing against vegetarianism. If someone is vegetarian, I respect that when I'm in their company and I won't try to convince them to eat meat. But that's all I would do.

You just do what you think is the best thing to do. And I will do mine. We have different views, that's all. But I would never eat meat. Sorry. You can gladly have my share of it.

Compassionate? Not towards animals surely. If someone says they feel compassion for animals and at the same time have steak on their plate that's just hypocritical. Even more so if you are indeed aware of the process that manufacters the once living thing in to... meat.

Thank you. I wish people realised animals aren't "just food". It is easy to buy a packet of meat in a supermarket and think nothing of it: it goes in the basket with milk & bread.

You can have totally satisfying meals without meat.

    Use your imagination.

Plus cooking/ frying meat stinks your house out!!! Meat smells vile. Surely nobody can say it smells nice??

I was a vegetarian for over fifteen years.

Even during that time, I truly loved the smell of a good, thick steak on the grill.
