It reminds me of young Claude Brasseur.
And I heard so many things I failed to understand at all

Hmmm...yes the man resembles Brasseur, but it's not him.

You're right, it's definitely not him. My other guess was Scorsese. Just as bad.

    How about Charles Aznavour?

    Another view

    alongside:

My first thought was Anthony Perkins, but the eyebrows are wrong.

    Pasolini?

Aznavour is a good guess, too. Most photos I can find of him show him w/ less hair than Kewpie's pic.

Sorry, the guy doesn't look like Tony Perkins at all.

The guy seems an American rather than an European / French to me.

Looks like someone from an old mobster movie to me.

    Yeah, I'm done guessing.
    I'm terrible with faces.

Who ever he is, he makes me want to sit down and shut up

Aww, you're easily intimidated! It's awful, I keep on thinking that I've seen this guy before... but who the hell is he?

Started a thread in GD, hadn't seen the thread here.

My guess: Klaus Nomi sans make-up

I find it a rather inviting gesture like a 'What can you say?'

    Am I?

Watch, it will probably turn out to be Deniro or Pachino or some other completely obvious choice.

    Occam's Razor, right King Leer?

I hope King Leer logs on soon and saves us from our misery! (I don't think it's Pacino. DeNiro, maybe.)

Perhaps it's one of the photos from A Century of American Mugshots?

Here's my post from the main page (like how I cut and paste the "Insightful" along with it?)

Definitely not Imperioli. This photo isn't from this era -- it was probably mined at the same time as the vintage mugshots on the last tour backdrop.

I thought it was a young Lucky Luciano at first glance but it's probably a well-dressed nobody.

    Could be a Weegee photo.

Sadly Occam's razor doesn't apply when it comes to Morrissey's choice of images -- although he obviously falls for people who share facial similarities (coughMichael Schoeffling).

My first thought was that it was a mug shot..But then I saw the second shot of him pointing.

    LOL.

I should read the main page comments more often.
    I agree, insightful!

At least we can have fun guessing.

someone from sweden..finland etc should ask him when he does his "any questions? handing out the mike round" again
Morrissey asked my cousin where he was from. He answered Compton, which to Morrissey replied"Oh, so you're straight outta Compton aye?"[QUOTE from Ready With Ready-Wit;830350]
