If you're a woman . Just f*** as many men as you can, straight guys dont get that advantage in getting over someone. I'm serious. It works. Sorry for your loss. It ALWAYS sucks...

It's a trick question. You don't get over someone if you really were in love. As for the losing of the mind - I wish I had the answer to that one a while ago!

You write down how you feel.. Write your own screenplay drama if you like of what happened, how it happened.. How your senses reeled for the good and the bad times, and how you feel inside. It can be a great cathartic exerience.
And keep smiling. Don't let someone take that away from you EVER!

Zoloft.

No, no that would be sadistic for me.

I'm trying but it's so damn hard. Damn relationships, they never really work out do they?

Do you really think so? What a completely terrifying thought.
Wait aren't you supposed to be saying that people do it all the time,
it will get better and all that crap?
Rebound relationships I've heard do the trick, also go out dancing (with a trusted friend if you have one) and drink as much as you can without getting sick, and bask in the glow of attention from unwanted men. oh yeah you can always listen to depressing Moz songs!

Oh yeah! I forgot - "People do it all the time - it will get better soon." Hows that? Unfortunately - it didn't work for me. I still can't get c out of my mind. "I want the one I can't have - and it's driving me mad - it's written all over my face!"

Somehow I know this is going to be me too
How long has it been?
> Somehow I know this is going to be me too
You really can live through it - but it doesn't necessarily get a whole lot easier.
> How long has it been?
Centuries (it feels) - but it's actually been about three years. I still think about her every day and night(the nights are the most difficult). I have kinda "moved on" publically - but not in my heart. I had to give her up - but my heart won't let go.

That of course was advice from a straight guy.

You poor thing I can only say that I hope someday it gets easier for you.
And thanks people for restoring my faith that there are actual humans who come to this board. Shockingly I got some "real" replies to my post. I've been coming here since the beginning under various names and I really thought the board had been taken over by lunatics.

Thanks! I hope the same for you! I sometimes wonder if it will - or should I continue to cling to the little bit of her I have - even though it rips me apart

Understood! I bet even the looniest of the lunatics here have a heart. I have been here a while too - and I think the reason I keep coming here is that I relate to alot of Moz's music and many of the others here must be doing the same.

Try to keep your mind calm, and wait for better days. Sounds simple and naive? But believe me, dear, time is our best friend.
