Just who really is Morrissey's Dad?

Do you all believe it's 'Peter' Morrissey, or am I not alone in thinking that our Moz has a more than passing resemblance to the wonderful Sergeant Wilson from Dad's Army (actually John Le Mesurier). He had a lovely manner.

PS: Morrissey is everywhere. Today on a 'notes and queries' radio show, someone asking where a ship called Chrysanthemum which had been berthed on the Thames near Parliament had gone to, suggested that it had belonged to "that bloke in The Smiths" - he liked flowers [ugh!]. And I open my local newspaper and read that the wonderful Mr Harry Hill (it says Morrissey impersonator) is doing 2 gigs at the Half Moon Putney on 23rd and 24th Jan. Can't wait!

Nah come on Dads Army is no where near one of the greatest TV comedies ever, it's good though Wilson and Pike are a hoot.

Porridge was class, some great charecters in that, Mackay and Baraclough for example. The Blackadder's were good, although I'm a bit border of watching them nowadays unlike Porridge.

Cheers and Fraiser are quality (wow something worthwhile coming out of America).

The Likely Lads and Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads is another top comedy.

Those are the ones I rate Porridge being tops.
