Jeff sends:
In 1969, the New Yorker interviewed the founder member of America's James Dean Club, a 57-year old widow, Mrs. Therese Brandes, who said: "I always tell people that James Dean will be alive until I die." She died in the early 70's. Dean lives on."
-- Steven Morrissey, James Dean is Not Dead
James Dean was the ultimate rebel of the cinema, and Morrissey is the ultimate rebel of popular music. Although Morrissey was not yet born when Dean died in 1955, his life, style and music was greatly inspired by James Dean. Join Sweet and Tender Hooligans and special guest Coulter as they celebrate the life of James Dean and the music of Morrissey and The Smiths.
