What upcoming Los Angeles performances are you refering to? I haven't heard of any L.A. shows yet. Is this some sort of joke? Trying to make some money off Morrissey's name?

How many people would still see a tribute band when Morrissey's tour is in the west coast, almost everyone here can see him? If it's a "pre-concert" then why is it so far from the date he is playing? Shouldn't they play like the night before or something?

Ridiculous, don't you find? I believe two SATH band members explained to me once, that they perform when there is an abesence from Morrissey. They enjoy filling the fans need to see/hear a live show, as they have expressed. It is a foolish thing to do, perform as a tribute band while the actual Man is on tour. If you have mentioned that touring is for the absence of the 'real thing', then why bother to play a gig or two now? Morrissey is on tour, there is no need for a childish tribute band. I have also heard that a band member who viewed the Arizona shows said he can do a better job. That the performance was lacking. First off, you play "their" music. Fool. SATH is now a very boring arrangement. Give it up boys, give it up boys. "as long as there is an audience who wishes to see us play, we will continue...." This is your response, correct? Blah. Don't even dare performing the new songs. That would be a silly move, a disrespectful move. Does anyone agree....This tribute is certainly not just, nor is it refreshing?

I don't think any of the members of SATH think they can play as well as Morrissey's band. It's all just for fun. And nobody in their right mind goes to a SATH show because Morrissey isn't touring. SATH is no substitute for Moz, and the band doesn't think of themselves that way. Going to a SATH show is just something to do on a Saturday night. You can can hear Moz's music live without worrying about waiting in line all day or paying $35 for a ticket or getting smashed in the pit (although there is the occasional mosh pit at SATH).

You people take SATH way more seriously than they take themselves. Of course a tribute band isn't for everyone. But geez...they aren't making any money off it. It's so funny how mean and rude people are on the Internet. I bet none of you are really this annoying in real life. Why does this forum bring out the worst in people?

What the hell is your problem???
You guys act like this band is the real thing AND you are the blood-sucking press. Always gotta be on someone's case!
Everyone know's its not easy doing what these boys do, and the thing is, they don't do it for a living!!!
So for those of you who don't agree that there should be any shows from tribute bands while Morrissey is on tour......

Okay everyone and anyone, so who is going to the show? I see alot of comments here but no one saying if they are going! I think I'm gonna go. I still enjoy some of their shows! Though the last show I saw in Santa Monica, the lead singer's performance was poor. At least that is what I thought, and no one really cares what I think!

Jose Maldanado is a little bitch, and deserves an ass kicking. Fist for fucking up on his wife, second for being an arrogant cock, and third for being a punk ass bitch. The dude needs a reality check. He needs to stop day dreaming and fantasiyzing that he's Morrissey.
