Holistic Medicine

My secret's my enzyme.
Has anybody tried this?

Supposedly, oil pulling has other health benefits too–various websites claim that it doesn’t just whiten our teeth and draw out phlegm; it draws out toxins as well, leading to clearer skin, among other things. But I can’t vouch for anything other than what I’ve seen: whiter teeth, clearer lungs.

I’ve had many friends try it, and all but one have had wonderful, similar effects (the one friend didn’t notice much difference.) If you’re curious, here’s what I do:

Brush your teeth and floss.
Pour one tablespoon of sesame oil (or sunflower oil) into your mouth.
Swish the oil around in your mouth without swallowing it for 15-20 minutes, and pull the oil through your teeth as you swish. If your jaw muscles become sore while swishing, you’re working too hard. Relax your jaw. While swishing, the oil will become white and foamy. This is normal.
After 15 or 20 minutes, spit the oil (now white foam) into the sink drain or toilet. If you choose the sink, be sure to clean it afterward; the substance contains toxins.
Finally, rinse your mouth out 2-3 times with warm water, followed by some form of mouthwash. (Sometimes I brush my teeth again instead of using mouthwash.)
That’s it!

CG should know Jehne is too busy cleaning her toilet out by using the hair of Jesus to do so. If things work then use it and if they don't then try something else. We've forgotten old methods and rely far too much on white tablets that will store loads of chemicals in our bodies. Using natural things that work is always preferred to some witches brew in the form of a pill but that is just me.

Also the pill companies are f***ing us all in the ass. There's a lot of money to be had in "medicine."

So I tried oil pulling today and I think it's actively doing something because immediately after I felt light headed and a little nauseas. I doubt just swishing would do that, I think it really is pulling toxins out of my mouth, or I swallowed a tad. Anyway, I'm replacing my toxin as fast as I can by eating a peanut butter sandwich and some potato chips and a COKE (the Ayurvedic Gods are going "Amie! WTH!!!!") but I'm going to try this for two weeks. :D

Same effect here and thanks to your post I have done this for a number of days now. I have felt a bit dizzy twice now after having tried the oil pulling. Teeth feel like after a visit to the dentist every time now which is nice. Now I am thinking about replacing the regular fluoride toothpaste with an ecological one cause fluoride is bad for you.

I am split though about this cause for many many years I have brushed teeth twice and only rinsed it out with water after the first time and just spitting it out after the second brush and leaving a protection layer overnight. I think most specialists agree now that you should not rinse the mouth with water after brushing. There is a big debate on fluoride online but the big issue is about fluoride in water which is of course bad for you.

I also read that cancer is just a fungus disorder and that there are tablets to cure that and many have tried and it worked both on humans and animals. The tablets are called Salvestrol and is a substance found in fruit.

Oh, I'm glad you tried it! It does leave your mouth feeling like you just had a cleaning. Other websites have said the oil dissolves the plaque buildup over time, that it'll only feel cleaner as you make it part of your regular routine. I've been using sesame oil. Some people say Sesame is the only oil to use, that it;s Ayurvedic properties are tenfold of other oils. Others say Coconut Oil is the only oil that would kill off certain bacteria due to it's acid level.

Regarding flouride I believe Portland Oregon removed flouride from their water altogether because of those concerns.

Based on my knowledge of medicine, I imagine snake oil would be optimal...

(Sorry, couldn't help myself. :D)

Holistic medicine is often laughable, I personally HATE the New Age movement. But I think there can exist a medium between modern science and ancient science. Last week I followed a woman into a restroom after she took a twenty minute dump. The smell was...I can't even describe it. I was retching, I almost threw up. It had such a profound effect on me, smelling this woman's poop, that I mentioned it to a couple people. (I do have normal conversation IRL, this is not one of them.) We concluded that the smell must've been caused by the cocktail of medicines she takes twice a day for her handful of problems. If odors like that are coming out of her something must be off. I'm thinking maybe too much Pfizer and not enough fiber. But our culture, (American culture, that is) is so programmed to believe in medicine. "Take two of these and call me in the morning." is faster than diagnosing the root of someone's particular problem. What I like about Holistic practices is that they attempt to tackle the root of the problem, not just the side effects of the problem.

That is so true and western medicine is all about tackling side effects and not solving the problem itself. In the modern world people lost touch with what they do to their own bodies and it is like they become surprised when they become ill after having smoked and eaten bad things or been drinking too much.

Personally I have said for many years that it is hopeless to go to a hospital for help because you know they just cannot fix the problem and will only try and tackle the side effects of it. It is so sad that we have so many examples of people who changed their lives and what they filled their bodies with and got better and still no one is interested in them or very few anyway.

I have only recently started to read about how cancer is just fungus and what we think is cancer is actually the way for the body to confront the fungus and build a defence against it. The fungus are in all our bodies and kept in check unless the balance of it changes and it takes over and spreads. Cancer does not spread it is the fungus that spreads. Candida is the culprit. When you wake in the morning the first thing you should do to test for candida problems is to spit in a glass of water. If there are white threads forming down to the bottom then you have a problem with candida.

After a few weeks now with the oil pulling I have experienced that i now regularly am able to do the number 2 every single day. Before I tried oil pulling I rarely did that every day. I have also noticed a different taste in the mouth on occasions when I have been drinking water. It does not effect the taste of food or other drinks just water at times.
I had felt tooth ache before and that is now gone and the teeth seem to be stronger as I can bite into things without feeling a thing.

I quit doing it after two days so my shits are the same and my life is as miserable as it always was.
