    The point being that the current band are in my opinion more adventurous than the Smiths ever were. The musical composition is mainly JM's and it is brilliant to say the least but I think the current band have taken the original tunes to a new level.

    A friend of mine did some work at a retirement home in Manchester a few years ago. Moz's mum lives there apparently and has a lot of silver and gold discs on her walls.

    I love the Beastie Boys, have done since their first single, even saw them live on their first UK tour with RUN DMC 1986. But I fail to see how Rick Rubin could bring anything to Morrissey's plate?
