I heard the MOZ man attended Madonna's Drowned World Tour in Los Angeles CA, on September 14, 2001. My friend said he took pictures of him. I can't wait to see these pictures! I will keep you informed.

I heard Morrissey say that he actually thought Madonna was a great artist in an interview he did with KROQ back in 1990 with Richard Blade so i wouldn't be surprised if this were true.

Madonna Fatigue like a lot of people.

HOWEVER, having caught sight of the tour on television a few weeks back - it was the Detroit gig that she licensed to Channel 4 in England via HBO - I have to say I was terrbily impressed. Who wouldn't be. She is tireless, and I thought her performance and the cultural complexity of the show spellbinding. There is no one else around at the moment who can compete with her. She is the best entertainer around these days. For someone who is sapposedly a second rate dancer and a second rate singer - to me she is a class act. No one else could have put on a show like that.

HIGHLIGHT: For me was the 'Paradise (Not For Me)' video where she is dressed up like a geisha girl and she says:

There is a light above my head
Into your eyes my face remains

Then a very bright light comes out of her mouth. This is one of the spookiest things I have ever seen. To me it is a career defining moment and shows she is different from other artists who are not prepared to explore Eastern spirituality or any other spirituality and have it brought into their own work both on record and on stage.

                  Well done Maddie!

As we know, Moz has changed his views of America from the early years with The Smiths. He is now much more appreciative of this country. However, he usually doesn't change his stance on his views concerning people. As far as Madonna, he stated years ago that she stands for everything he finds repulsive and that to him she stood for "Desperate Womanhood"
