What was most interesting about this release, possibly even more so than the "new" tracks, were the sleeve notes.

Morrissey talks with real passion and love about Alain and his contribution and paints a picture of someone he clearly cares about and values.

Lots of people question the contribution of Alain to Morrissey but, to these ears, he has always contributed proper pop tunes...songs that make your heart soar and your ears scream out for more!

Others will have lots to say about the new tracks, the new order and the art work but for me this is all about Alain.

Just received mine through the post today, on day of release. I have to say, in my opinion, it's one of the best looking CD's in my collection, the hard back book, very nice. Sounds great too.

"You Should Have Been Nice To Me" was certainly worth a listen. However, they killed any potential that the "Honey You Know Where To Find Me" demo possessed. Morrissey sounded like he was drugged, and then carried to a dungeon and force to perform at featherpoint? Why did they do that, and is there anyway of stopping them from doing it again?

"Fantastic Bird" is, well, um...it should have never seen the light of day. These extra songs actually sounded like unfinished ideas, yet their placement on the album seems odd when considering just how low in quality they are. If they were bonus b-sides, or extras on a greatest hits compilation, then I would understand, but as I experienced with the "Striptease" leaks, Morrissey Inc. usually makes fairly wise decisions about what to keep in the vault. I also believe them when they say that there's not much in it.

Oh, and by the way, what the hell happened to "Kit?" Are you going to tell me that there wasn't a decent enough recording of that song that was better than "Fantastic Bird?"

I do believe that this could have originally been a slightly better album if more attention had been paid to it, but if my aunt had breasts, then she would be my uncle.

Ultimately, the release comes across as rude confusing, and entirely inappropriate.

Is this done deliberately by him possibly to state the fact that he is very settled in America and a snub to the UK or a typing error by some silly yank secretary who didn't realise we spell it correctly?

The unreleased songs are excellent. I just wish Morrissey didn't fiddle with the tracklisting. Southpaw is the ultimate closer.

Sorry if this is common knowledge and I missed it, but will there be a U.S. release of just U.K.? Either way, I'll pick up a copy...just wondering.

Since there are no new B-sides for SISMS, I consider 'You should have been nice to me as' the awaited B-side and loving it.

I'm not putting the album down, but couldn't they have cleaned up the unreleased material a little, or at least placed it at the end of the album.

I'm thinking this is the original track listing Morrissey wanted. It does have a flow to it, aside from the poor production sounding material.

Remastering has really made a difference on this record. I've forgotten how good the album actually was/is.

Fantastic packaging and the unreleased tracks are pretty good. Great to have Nobody Loves Us in the end.

the writing on the "record" end grooves says "Heart is a Lonely Hunter".

Nice to hear these excellent songs. Nice to Me is one of those dirges that Moz can sometimes pull off, but not this time.

2 out of 3 is a nice bonus.

Remember that stupid debate a month or two ago on this site about the cover. So many thought this wasn't the cover. Well, looks like it is.

I was really hoping for him to redo his vocals on Honey... It could have been a good and passionate song, but it does sound unfinished, which is too bad because the music is completely finished. If only he would have stood in front of a mic for 10 minutes.

I like fantastic Bird but it's shoddy production renders it distracting in the track list.

"You Should Have Been Nice to Me" I think is beautiful and well produced. It actually affected me in a way Morrissey hasn't in a while. It made me think of people in my life I shouldn't treat so casually or coldly at times singing it to me. I didn't get the feeling Morrissey was the victim in this one, but the receiver.

The new track-list list works surprisingly well...

I'm not bothered by tracklisting - it's kinda weird, but I tend to jump around tracks anyway,

With Nobody Loves Us, Honey and You Should Have Been Nice to Me this is a far, far better album than the original release.

Love the notes - he writes prose brilliantly. Very distinct voice, totally different from his lyrics; more akin to his early interviews.
