Gay men and women higlight their sexuality because continued prejudice and ignorance means that, even in our scientific and supposedly enlightened age, homosexuals still have to fight to be accepted as ordinary human beings. Gay men and women live ordinary lives, have ordinary emotions, ordinary sexual urges and fall in love like you or I. The fact that the person they have sex with is of their own gender shouldn't trouble your world in the slightest.

Also, no gay person I know of has ever "imposed" on the world that straight men should "have a penis stuck in their mouth, or have their arse fucked" as you so crudely put it. If straight people are able to talk about their sex lives in the street and in the media and perhaps make jokey comments like "what they need is a good shag", then why aren't gay people allowed to do the same? That isn't imposition, it's people discussing life.

If you think that gay men are trying to somehow force you to change your sexuality by simply fighting for equality and the right not to be bullied and abused, then you are either severely deluded, or overly obsessed with homosexuality (which may be an issue in itself). You might as well say that, in fighting for equality and forming their own culture, black people wante to "impose" their skin colour on white people. It's a ludicrous statement.

As for whatever incident with Morrissey and "that bully and his boyfriend" (whoever that might be) it's perfectly fine to dislike someone who's gay and disagree with something they say or do, after all, they're just another person. But to use sexuality as a stick with which to beat someone shows you up as both uneducated and prejudiced.

Homophobia has no justification.
