No. American Idol does not deserve Morrissey.   66% 1297 / 66%
Yes. It would be thrilling to watch Morrissey evaluate the talentless masses.   33% 653 / 33%

  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

I'm sure that I'm not alone in believing that the "talent" on that show is terrible. It is painful to watch.

I would LOVE to see Morrissey on there, just to see him subject to some of the most nauseating "singers" that exist on this planet. I would LOVE to see him cringe. I would LOVE to see him have to SIT THERE AND ENDURE the endless parade of egos that are larger than his and with a shred of his charisma and gift as a singer.

I would also LOVE for him to have to SIT THERE AND ENDURE a season with whomever the hosts are now, especially that guy who played the kid-dentist in the Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer show.

If Morrissey decides to play Canada and give us some consideration as humans, I will retract this statement and not wish to torture him with the worst U.S. Americans have to offer because most U.S. Americans do have maps.

I think its insightful for this comment 'reviewer' to associate Morrissey with a programme that showcases parts of our society we should be ashamed of as though they are freak show participants. "It's only meant to be a bit of a joke, and that we should laugh because they choose to go on." They choose to go on because they have serious delusional problems concerning their own abilities. They're aren't their to be laughed at; they are there for serious consideration. Your going to probably tell me that this poll is only a bit of fun. That it maybe but if I wanted to discuss that programme, I would go to a website concerning that programme. People who visit websites such as aren't going on them to discuss Morrissey and his work, they are going on to discuss whether Kelly Boringvoice sang the wrong song last week. They couln't give a warm brown waste product about Morrissey; they probably don't even know who he is beacuse they don't know anyone outside the Billboard Hot 100. If Morrissey wanted to be part of this show (which he obviously doesn't which begs the question 'Why is this poll actually taking place?'), he can wave bye bye to all the credibility he currently holds in the music world.

Given his choices for opening acts, if he were a judge I wonder how it would change the type of contestant makes it through to the final rounds of the show. Originality is not what they look for at all.
