  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

I was lucky enough to go to the opening night at the Roundhouse - thank goodness I did! It must have been so disappointing for those who suffered from the cancellations. It wouldn't be so bad if there were just postponements.

I've bought tickets to the third night of the Brixton Academy dates and I must admit that I'm already wondering whether it was wise.

Has Moz got the stamina for this comprehensive tour with a good number of consecutive dates?

Another good year for Morrissey! (Score:1, Funny)
"There is no such thing as bad press!" It was a good year for Morrissey. 2009 will be even better. New album, new single, new tour. Yes, 2009 will be just fine! Happy Christmas to everyone and Happy New Year. God Bless.

      Morrissey's bare naked arse .... (Score:1, Funny)
I still get that queasy feeling that he went a little too far with that one. I'm not a zealot following the strict preachings of my local Baptist church on how the body should be covered, so no one would sin because of the sight of a pair of hairy buttocks. I was raised in Brazil. Over there, men ride buses with nude and sweaty torsos all the time. It doesn't tease nor shock anyone. But a bare ass? That was not a thing people did. If I had grown in Ancient Greece, I would probably find it a natural thing - the male naked butt. On the other hand, the female naked arse is commonplace in Rio and even hailed as one of the "major touristic points" of the city. Saxon Indians go there to "look at asses". But a male English ass? Morrissey surely hit me with that one. The eyes that view nakedness are obviously coming from a culturally conditioned brain. Morrissey sure knows it and he bared his exactly because he knows how conditioned we are towards how we see our bodies. I can't get over the hair issue. If only that butt didn't have that hair...

I was able to be at that Roundhouse show. Unfortunately, I flew from CA to be there for my 21st birthday, but still I had a great time in London and was able to see Moz for 4 songs.

My aunt was even fortunate enough to talk the sound guy into giving her the full set list for the night. Ended up going to Piccadilly Circus and getting drunk even though the legal drinking age is 18, still had to celebrate my birthday some how.

                    Drama? (Score:1, Funny)
You guys have a weird definition of "drama," which is, when used as a noun outside the context of the stage, a pejorative modern slang term implying problems for which one has only oneself to blame. "Drama" is pursued for attention or because you have some other personal failing that keeps simple matters from being resolved simply.

Calling something like the NME thing, or the Hollywood Bowl DVD business, "drama" is pretty dead-on. Calling Jerry Finn's death "drama" is really insulting, and a bad use of words.

Unless what you really mean is "Solo drama of the year" (even Finn's death, unbelievably, caused an untoward level of argument around here) but in that case you could just say so.
