  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Although he has criticised David Bowie it has been more on a personal level since their falling out after the "Outsiders"-tour. As an artist I am sure Morrissey truly admires Bowie. I recall Moz saying something nice about him in an interview from recent years. Moreover, he still sings the beautiful Drive-in Saturday on tour.

I think Mozza is my favorite male singer, but I am irrevokably convinced he has an issue with sensual women - of the expression of female sensuality. The only exception he seems to have made was for Kristeen Young. God knows what goes in his head sometimes... maybe the vision of a monastery flashing in a horrific stormy night, with a priest (him) near a window, flogging himself to tears, after watching This Is No Ordinary Love or a clip of Tori's spread legs on a piano seat.

Morrissey and Johnny Marr, in their infinite wisdom, declined. Furthermore, they declared that they were better than The Police and Johnny Marr went so far as to say that Andy Summers was an inferior guitar player. So, REM was chosen for the opening spot, including the infamous Shea Stadium concert in New York. I understand that in 1983, The Smiths were young and full of hubris, but this is exactly the type of ill advised and self defeating attitude that prevented them from becoming a household name. It's funny because years later Morrissey said he respected Sting for being an innovator and sticking to his principles or something like that. Btw, I just saw The Police at the second to last concert of their reunion tour and they were awesome. Truly the best concert I've ever witnessed and that's including Morrissey. I know alot of people will say, "he's not a real Morrissey fan" but I'm just being honest. If only Morrissey would mature, get over his adolescent pettiness and give the fans what they really want. I never thought The Police would reunite, but if they could do it, so can The Smiths. How about this, Morrissey, do one tour with The Smiths and donate all of the money to your favorite charity such as Peta? That way you could make the people happy and maintain your integrity.
