  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

just bought the new radiohead online for $10. very cool idea, but it didn't come with any artwork, which sucks. when it comes to morrissey, i like my cds. i'd gladly pay a few bucks for the initial download, but shell out $15 for the actual cd release.

There are only a few artists that I feel could get away with this and Morrissey comes to mind as someone whose fans wouldn't let him down. The only real way for artists to make their money nowadays is to PERFORM. It's for certain that one good thing that has come out of the MP3-era of music, it's that it has compelled artists to get out there and be LIVE and be GOOD and keep people coming to see your show. It's kind of cool to know that certain bubble-gum pop acts or rap performers would never DARE try this revolutionary approach to selling their "music". My hat's off to Radiohead for having the guts to do this.
