  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Tough choice (Score:1)
This was a pretty tough choice, unlike the last poll, YATQ? The more you ignore me won me over 'cause it is Morrissey! Lyrically, musically and melodically perfect. Although Suedehead and Sunday are classics, I find them a bit tiresome now, where as The more you ignore me never seems to lose it's charm. Please no one vote for Let me Kiss you, you'll be doing yourself and this poll a huge disfavour.

When you look at this poll, it shows how Morrissey didn't have a UK Top 10 from Kill Uncle or Your Arsenal (actually '90 - '93!!!) This was the height of his popularity, wasn't it? Again from '95-2001 (but that's easier to believe.) However, I think Boy Racer and Satan Rejected are far better than I Have Forgiven Jesus for instance.

I guess it has to do with more factors than actual song quality.

I voted for Sunday. The sheer title of the song is a beautiful poem in itself. The lyrics, the music, the playing...it's a unique, superb song by any standards.

I am actually surprised it has beaten Suedehead off the number one spot, though.

As a whole, Morrissey's first seven singles are magical.

I believe Satan, friends successful, Fatty , sing yourr life are way better than Jesus and Kiss you, and Killed me.

Alma Matters should have made the top 5. It's an awesome record, especially if you take the bonus tracks into account.

Whereas, Ignore me has never really hit me. I like it. I think it's an ok track, but not more than that.

            I Have Forgiven Jesus
            Let Me Kiss You

Everyday Is Like Sunday won. Wistful yet catchy. I've always been a sucker for pop songs with orchestration, and this song is a perfect example. (For a perfect non-Moz example check out 'Reflections Of My Life' by The Marmalade).

There's something quintessentially *Engish* about this song, and that's one of the things that makes it a true work of art. It's a period piece. Remember what English Sundays used to be like...? lol

There's that classic double entendre going on... at first you are presented with run-down seaside town picture that he's painting (which is a funny bitter-sweet tale in itself) and then he reveals that he's comparing the utter desolation and emptiness of those surroundings to his own loneliness.

Everyday is like Sunday...when your on your own.

            Sheer poetry. Enough said.
