  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Compare him now to that Live In Dallas DVD where he was all out of breath and resorted to grumps and yelps. So why the hell not, especially with the current US setlist - wish we bloody got "The Queen Is Dead" on his last stint in the UK! While it is ordinary for men under 30 to exhibit muscular torsos - I love it when they pass by, on those bikes! - it is unusual for 48 year-old men to do that. In doing that, Morrissey forces to look at sexuality in a different way - even if not all of us. The visual message he is giving is that we should enjoy our bodies at no matter what age, that you shouldn't have to feel like you should burry your body in shame and in old clothes and crawl under your older skin just because youth-driven society tells you to, with those messages on commercial TV. His partial nudity is a form of telling that sensuality and eroticism are mainly a state of mind. Nakedness coming from him is an expression of passion, not just an exhibition of a 48 year-old body. All we need to do is go to youtube.com and watch one of those "Let Me Kiss You" clips to witness that. The image of a naked man, whether sung or displayed, is a constant one with Morrissey: he is surely being brash and outrageous about something...freedom, perhaps?

At a recent lecture I heard Werner Herzog repeat his dictum "an artist should never look away." I think Morrissey, and by extention his audience, is the living embodiment of that idea, on a very personal level. He has spent a lifetime urging us to witness things most folks would rather not reveal, much less set to music and broadcast to the world. He is rather ruthless in this way, and compellingly intimate.

Maybe the shirt toss is just a simple change from wet to dry, though. Maybe many of us are projecting a bit too much. Maybe that's what that little smirk is all about.

Yes, he does need to change shirts because of the heat, but he doesn't have to do it on stage. He knows we love it, and he knows he can still get away with it. If he doesn't stop when the time is right, we can let him know by throwing the shirt back at him (as if that would ever happen)!

Still, does make me laugh rather when I think of how a younger Morrissey once slated people like The Rolling Stones for carrying on when they were "past it", and now he has realised you're never past it if you still have life in you and a passion for doing what you do (and people still have a passion for you). Oh, the folly of youth!

Can you say, "excuse for an obsession?" It's mighty pathetic to watch you get into that rental car after the show each night. You frighten me.

Julia/True To You -no offense, god love ya- basically copies what gets posted here...she doesnt have time to keep it updated with following Moz around anyway. I think this site has everything you need to know -covers the gamut. But thats just my opinion.

What dont you like about it? What does Morrissey hate about it? Perhaps whoever suggested this poll actually suggested the poll answers verbatim? Well, it seems to be a good community of people who respect him and eachother's opinions (even if they are 'against' the Man himself) We are all here for a common purpose.
