  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

Luckily, Moz remains a contemporary recording artist.
Yes, the quality of the recent stuff doesn't match the Smiths but there is tons of interesting things to discuss about his current/future position.
I'm just a bit tired of dwelling on the ancient past so heavily...

That being said, the acoustic version of BTTOH is by far superior, in fact I believe it ranks 21st in all of Smith songs

I think you need to first encounter the electric version to fully appreciate the starkness and beauty of the acoustic version. I was only 13, and this song was my favourite on "Louder Than Bombs." You can imagine that I fell to the floor when I heard the acoustic version. Morrissey sings that song with such fervor, sincerity, and emotion. I was hoping The Smiths would record an acoustic version of "Well I Wonder" as well.

With love,

The acoustic version, I feel, is just a little too sparse. It sounds like a demo. Yes...the guitar playing is exceptional, but that version just doesn't paint the same aural pictures that the electric version does.

It's such a wonderful song, in either version, though...I wish he'd return it to the set instead of 'Girlfriend In A Coma', or any half-baked cover version.
