i believe in ghosts because morrissey believes in them.

I have seen ghosts twice. They seem to like to visit me in the dead of night in the British Isles for some reason.

They've been dogging Morrissey in the courts for YEARS now! ;)

I believe ghost do exsist, but i would say ther eis no doubt in my mind. Though u i believe in the Holy Ghost. But i did watch Ghostbusters and their were loads in that so..........;)

I've heard loads of stories from friends who have had scary experiences with ouija or hauntings and they were absolutely convinced there was something there, because it could not be explained any other way.

But "ghosts" is just one possibility.

A few occassions I have had spooky experiences, feeling a bad atmosphere in a place and wanting to leave immediately, and other inexplicable things. I wouldn't say "this is the answer" as I don't know, but I don't worry too much about it either.

I don't need to know. But I am curious...

My freind that attends every year to ceremonies at South Dakota seen many of what you would say "Supernatural". Told me once of seen the spirit of a baby bear.

For me only as a child I've seen something of that kind of nature.

I seem to recall an interview, maybe just afrer Viva Hate, or Kill Uncle, in which Morrissey said that the house he was currently living in was haunted. It might have been in Bath or somewhere. Anyway, the house had once been a monastery or something, and the ghost was apparently that of a monk. He said that he had been woken by the ghost touching him on the chest. The interviewer asked if he had moved in to the house despite the ghost and he replied, "Because of the ghost".

It might have been in the same interview, but when asked, in connection with Ouija Board, Ouija Board whether he was interested in the occult, he said he had a passing, not an inexhaustible interest.

I couldn't write this last night when i first saw it as thinking about such things late at night all by myself causes the air in my flat to become thick with evil and advance in on me from all sides. like when u watch one of those horror films on your own. especially that patch of air just behind you. that freakin demonic that is....

but anyway, i saw a ghost once....

i met this taiwanese girl once at the buddhist temple. one evening we both went for a walk to chinatown so she could buy some feng shui books.

nice and sweet and could laugh at anything with her silly but enchanting sense of humour she on this occasion grew steadily more serious until she didn't say anything except that she had to "tell me something" but couldn't quite manage to tell me what it was.
"well...it's..." ...."well....something keeps happening at the temple"

she would splutter out a few words of a sentece then fall silent agian. ...
until i egged her on a bit and assured her it was alright as i think i know anyway...
then she said exactly what i was thinking it was about. "i keep seeing ghosts in the temple"

i knew she would say it as i had seen one there myself a few days before!

watching the nun perform a ceremony one early evening, which only she attended, before the huge golden Shakyamuni, Future Buddha and Medicide Buddha, i stood at the top of the stairs watching awkwardly. i was new then and didn't really want to intrude.

that's when i just happened to casually turn and look back down the stairs.

that's when a saw him. a young university aged chinese lad running up the stairs towards me, his eyes wide and his mouth gaping, his face horrified and his arms out stretched up and to the sides and circling.

and then suddenly he was gone!

strange thing is i'm really scared of ghosts sometimes and i sh!t scared incase i might see one
but when i actually did i just thought "oh...a ghost" and that was it.

one thing is they are semi transparent like the stereotype but they are not grey, though. they have colour. and when they vanish they seem to evaporate outwards in every direaction.
