      With some very careful tune selection this would be an incredible show. I'll wait to see the inevitable track lists from the likes of Chris Aren't Clark and (Very) Broken before I post my own definitive list.

        I think the semi-acoustic version of Now My Heart Is Full on the Oye Esteban! tour worked marvellously, but personally I just dont think of Morrissey as the kind of artist who befits the "stripped down" treatment. I think he's at his best when augmented by big, big arrangements, a la "Last Night I dreamt" and "Come Back To Camden"...

          An accoustic album may well happen one day and may I be the first on Morrissey Solo to point out that it contains the wrong songs, suffers from a bad choice of producer and has terrible cover art. Oh, and he should have selected a different song as the single too.

                okay maybe not, you know how there is one singer who's voice is just perfect to your ears no matter what? well that is Moz to me. he could be backed by a buzz saw and i would still love it. the sound of his voice is literally and metaphorically music to my ears, no matter what kind of mood i'm in, listening to that velvet voice always makes me smile!

                  You know, for a while, some of Boz's musical arrangements have been as good for a single keyboard, or for a single guitar, than they have been for the full band. Because the quality of Boz's musical arrangement means any of those songs sound great with a single instrument. Of course, we have all been here before, with the talk of a 2nd CD on the next album and so on.

                  For me, KITT, STAY AS YOU ARE, SAFE WARM.. would all be truly wonderful as acoustic songs, just as BOXERS was absolutely amazing with a guitar, as was Vini Reilly playing along in the 90s (?) to OH WELL I'LL NEVER LEARN *well did ya?*

                  Let's see - that's the beauty of the music world and the spectacular talents held by Boz.

                    the reason why those versions of "Back to the Old House" and "Oh Well, I'll Never Learn" were so intensely beautiful were the men who were playing those guitars. Boz & the boys seemed to have some fire in their bellies ten years ago (nothing to equal Marr or Reilly even then), but now? Nothin'.

                        The reason he hasnt is because It doesnt sound good. It steals alot from his voice...The sound makes the listener focus a bit more on the guitars than the Charming Man who's singing....

                              back to the old house is an amazing song. I have tried to learn it on the guitar but have never quite managed it. I'm not sure about Moz doing unplugged however, it seems to be mostly very boring, serious artists who do it. Also does Boz have the sensitivity to do nice gentle acoustic numbers?
