I was also listening to the Howard Stern show on that day and you are lying. At no time did Howard say "Oh, you mean like Morrissey." All he did was repeat Morrissey's name after someone else said it. Get your facts straight.

First of all Howard Stern is an A*s*s*h*o*l*e, that's was he is in real life and that's what he does for a living. "King of all media" he well may be, but let us never say that he is intelegent or witty. This is just a small example of the many things that this man says on a daily basis to prove this.I personally would rather pierce my skull with a cold iron bar than listen to Stern, but that's my oppinion.....

people insist on pidgionholing him into some dark corner where noone knows about him. About 80 percent of people that I talk to who are not even music fans have heard of him. I think it's time moz fans wake up and realize...MORRISSEY IS POP!!!

howard was a radio disc jockey
for yrs on end in the 80's. i'm
sure he has a vast working knowledge
of most bands/music genres....and i'm
sure he does own a few Smiths cds...for the record, i love howard.
when i worked early shift at GM, his
show was the only thing that kept me sane. and i think it's impt that differing
opinions be voiced. how can you evolve
if someone doesn't challenge your opinions?
when someone offends or confronts my sensibilities, i take it as an opportunity
to either gain insight or build resolve.
maybe howard serves more of a purpose than
you think..... "yeah, yeah...what's your cup size?"

ive been a howard fan longer than a morrissey fan (im a bigger moz fan). howard has always had a dark sense of humor but has always been really cool with the gay community. he makes jokes about homos all the time, and who donsnt, even i do and im gay. ralph his stlyist and a close friend is gay (in the closet homo). anywayz the point is howard is just being funny, its his job. believe me has nothing against gay people, besides, hes a huge fan of lesbians.

The fact that Howard Sterns name is mentioned so much on a Morrissey web-site makes me sick! The fact that people like "gooey discharge" are posting messages on this site makes me more sick! It is a sad sad day when I read these comments and realize that a bunch of high school Howard Stern watching, Matchbox 20 listening, gun toting highschoolers of this new crap music/media scene we have been enduring for way too long now have crawled out of the lesbian porn chat rooms and decide to post worthless(such as this one) messages on a previously good site. From what I have read here it seems that Americans are vulgar and brash. Their manners are repugnant to me. I cannot believe some of the comments posted here. Britain is an interesting place to live and it feels like a safe place at the moment. American children take guns to school and shoot each other. I think this planet would be better without a country that encourages such a violent, competitive, out of control culture.

I do believe that we have two different arguments here....Firstly, let us just say that there are Howard Stern fans, there are Morrissey fans and there are the rare Morrissey/Stern fans. May the trinary of fans never meet. Secondly what the h*e*l*l is all of this nationalist C*r*a*p being vomited here? This is not the forum for such discussions not to mention that such are both fruitless and pointless. For several spite fileld individuals to have the enlightment to be able to find the worst in anothers country takes absolutely no gray matter. Yes, I will say that America has its tendencies to be overly violent and the U.K. has its puritanical overtones. Who gives a rat's ASS what Howard says. Howard Stern gets paid millions of dollars to be an A-hole everyday on the radio, trust me...I know. Who cares if he meant it or not?
