From Bernard:

Johnny Marr has his own website now at www.jmarr.com and also at www.johnnymarr.net which is a mirror site. Fans can post whatever question they think of, Johnny Marr will be answering them every month.

From Torr:

The Johnny Marr discussion list that I've been running for over a year and a half is now official in cooperation with the new official site www.jmarr.com you can join the list at

www.onelist.com/community/marr

We mainly discuss Johnny's post-Smiths projects. News of his solo album is to be announced on the list soon.

Ok! The site is greatly designed, and i'm sure it will soon be better. A great site for the greatest musician in the world.

Only the greatest musician in the world. But why did you have to sell your music to a car commercial?

i assume you're referring to 'how soon is now'. i don't think Morrissey/Marr own the rights to any of the Smiths songs anymore, so that was the record company's decision. or that's what i'd like to believe.

Actually, I'm pretty certain Morrissey/Marr Productions [or whatever it's called] Ltd. DO in fact still own the rights to the music. Using "How Soon is Now" is not the 1st, nor will it be the last, time it was used in commecials. About 5-6 years ago, if not a little longer, the song was used by Canadian beer company Labbatt for it's new Labbatt Maximum Ice commercials. Really, really, really lame - some Nordic-looking big guy in a leather jacket walking around waxing poetic about the beer, while ice was smashing around him. Then he slams the bottle down on the ice, sorta thing, with "how soon is now" in the background. I suppose business is business.

SO WHAT MORRISSEY AND MARR HAD THEIR MUSIC USED IN A CAR COMMERCIAL. THEY'VE EARNED THEIR FAME! PRAISE THEM! THEY SHOULD BE SEEN AND HEARD EVERYHERE!!! BUT EVER NOTICE HOW MOZ FANS GET MAD WHEN MORRISSEY GETS A COMMERICAL TASTE OF FAME? AND EVER NOTICE HOW MORRISSEY GETS MAD WHEN HE HASN'T GOT ENOUGH A COMMERCIAL TASTE OF FAME?? HE OBVIOUSLY WANTS EVERYONE TO KNOW HE EXISTS, SO STOP TRYING TO HIDE HIM IN OBSCURITY PEOPLE. THE PLANETS NEEDS HIM FOR GROWTH ON ALL CONCERNED LEVELS. HE DESERVES TO SHINE BRIGHT LIKE THE TRUE STAR HE IS! AMEN!
