My goodness. Morrissey looks so healthy and virile. And maybe it's because he's standing next to Boz, who doesn't look as good, but he looks so, so handsome.

hey!!! i love Boz as much as the next
rock-a-billy enthusiast. he is a stand-up
cat and one hell of a guitar player.however, having said that, alot can change
w/in 5 yrs--- looks as if Boz has gained
some weight and double chin to boot.

I agree with Magnus...who are we to judge?!LOL...he's closer to Morrissey than any of us will ever be. Besides, he is an awesome person..guitarist, and I hear a great father. So...just go easy on the man.

Jeez, Boz looks older, and only a few years ago he looked younger than Morrissey. He should dance a little more often. Poor ole' Boz is looking pretty shabby. Poor guy, makes Morrissey look like a Superman.

Hip and aware ---Its very easy for you to sit there and suggest that Boz "brush his teeth" but it is quite hard to do this when you don't have any teeth to brush in the first place!!!

I think many people are not aware that Boz Boorer used to look really different early in his career. Even when he first started working with Moz he looked much different then he does now. Boz just needs to lay off the beer and beef wellington. Here's some old pictures of Boz...

It's just incredible that they actually published that photo of them. I mean look at it. Boz is set upon Moz's lap. It may appear as if Boz is standing some distance behind Morrissey but it's a forced perspective we are looking at here. The reality is that that is Boz's true size!!!! Yes he can jam like a straycat on crack but he can barely wrap his arms around a guitar! We have all seen it on tour! Come on don't be duped! Oh yeah and BTW, his age is only 25....amazing what too much stout can do....

I remember Boz from when he first started playing with Morrissey. He has gained weight, but haven't we all at some point or another? Big deal if he doesn't look like he used to. He'll lose weight if HE wants to, not because some fans said he looked heavier. I'm just glad he's still playing with Morrissey.

About a year or so ago, after a St Petersburg Moz show, me and a couple friends ended up in the resort hotel bar with Moz's band and body guard. No Moz, he retired to his chambers, HA! Anyway, Boz went to town on the biggest order of nachos I have ever seen! He wouldn't let Alain near his food either! I mean, he tucked a napkin in his shirt collar, hunched over the table, and with his two bare hands went to town for 20 minutes! He was skinny back then too! Not anymore!He can still play the ax, though!

I was at the concert too!!! I drove over from Orlando and stayed at the Vinoy where Moz and the Band were. I saw him just destoying that plate of nachos with extra chili and sour cream. He actually punched Alain for reaching for a chip!!
He then ordered a second plate but couldn't finish it all so before the waitress came back to clear his setting I saw him shoving all the nachos
in his pants and pockets and then he noticed I was staring and he said "These are for later." I was the guy wearing the Silvery/Club shirt. Do you remember me

Mr. Boorer is an incredible musician and wonderful person. Morrissey is EXTREMELY fortunate to have him. I e-mail Boz and his lovely wife from time to time and I can tell you that the man is for real. He's the type of guy we can all sit around and have Corona's with. He is the poster child for the "Rockabilly" lifestyle and I hope he continues to enlighten this world with his incredible music. BOZ RULES!!!

Funny how all of a sudden our attention spans are captivated by Boz...for the good or the bad. Moz is rarely mentioned these last few postings...but hey, I'm a Boz fan just as much as I'm a Moz fan. The guy is incredible, I've also had the opportunity to exchange emails with this man...he is truly the genuine article. As far as the Rockabilly goes, he still follows in the traditions set before him...but the great thing about his musicianship is...He's an innovator, taking Rockabilly to another level...A la Moz. It's absolutely wonderful that he has taking it to that level...innovation of sound is a quality of all the great Rockabilly Greats, and that is what he has become...a Rockabilly Great.

Well, looks like Boz is quite a character in this photo. He is known to come out silly in photos isn't he? Morrissey looks absolutely stunning. Of course, when doesn't he? They duo look somewhat humerous as well. I love it!

You know, if you ran into Boz at a Morrissey show and he invited you to go backstage and hang out you would be acting all fake and stupid and nice pretending to be interested in him - all of you who have negative things to say about Boz are pathetic.. something I have noticed as a pattern from most of the sad lot that have such nerve to say anything at all- take a look at yourselves for once and hey you just may notice that you have gained a few extra pounds and your teeth are rotting out of your mouths.. but you will NEVER have what Boz has and that is a friendship with Morrissey on a higher level than you will ever know.

Boz is the Sh*#t, and writes good music for Morrissey. I think that Boz is a better song writer than Alan, hey.....atleast Boz has his own web page, and really he can play the guitar good, because if you really think and look...Boz plays all the good parts for Morrissey Alan plays and just looks dumb like he knows that he's the sh*#t but he's not....Boz is!

It's too bad that so many people can say such ugly things about Mr. Boorer. A man that has made such beautiful music that has made all of our lives better. And what does he get in return? Pettiness. How many hundreds of Morrissey fans has Boz talked to, signed autographs for, hung out with after the shows, and returned emails? Boz is genuine, he is the real thing, he loves the fans and gives alot to them.Besides, who are all these "beautiful" people to critique Boz? I've seen Moz live many times, and they sure as hell aren't in the crowd. I think he looks like a million bucks. There is more to a person than just their exterior.

It seems that Boz should move to LA like Morrissey did. It looks like Boz has been immersed in the leftover smog from the industrial revolution a little too long. At least the sun shines through the smog in LA. And there's plenty of plastic surgeons that can take off 10 years here and there.

Geez, Morrissey will never change! He was & will always be beautiful. Everyone should give poor Boz a break. He is an incredible musician & is in Morrissey's band, can't say the same for the rest of us. Even so, it maybe a bad shot he doesn't look that bad. Even if Morrissey gained 200 pounds & lost his hair completely, he & his band would still rock!

I agree with Melissa....Moz always preaches about the beauty IN us all. I would still be a big Moz fan even if they would all become "silly old men" who did gain 200 pounds. The music is the main focus because that will live forever and unlike us humans....we won't.
