Yeah...I'm sure the first thing Morrissey thought of on the morning of June 1 was to wish Mike Joyce a happy birthday.

I've been a few times to Mike's webpage, just like Johnny, he answers questions on his page. He seems a nice guy and if you have to say someting about him than go there, if you have the guts. I was also not happy with the courtcase, only because it was not-done sueing your old band-mates,it seems like sueing you family. There are 4 people who have the right to judge about it, we only choose sides, well, you do! Stop acting chidish.

hey Celibate Cry: i’ve already gone to Mike’s page last year and posted what I thought about him, the courtcase and particularly about his new book... so, I think I have the right to say whatever I want about him... the same right you have to defend him..

What?????Isn't this a Moz-Solo site? Why in the world are they posting stuff about Mike Joyce??? I'm so sick of hearing about these smiths guys who played music for moz. Just kidding!!! I just wanted to make fun of all the people who can't stand to hear stuff about Marr on this site. Marr rules!!! Electronic rules!!! I can't wait to hear Marr's new solo album. I'm sure most of the people who complained about reading stuff about Marr do love The Smiths. Then why do they hate Marr so much? So I guess Moz is the one responsible for making such beautiful music for the Smiths and for making such beautiful guitar riffs, eh? I DON'T THINK SO!!!! I love Moz's voice. I love Moz's lyrics. He was an important part to the smiths, but he wasn't everything in the smiths.

please stop the joyce bashing. it is truly boring and lacks integrity.obviously, joyce felt he had a legal right to sue. but i suppose you believe morrissey is above the law? you might feel loyality to morrissey- a pop star you've never met, a man who would probably decline your hysterical sentiments... but i reject the notion that morrissey is a deity we must worship as infalliable. other smiths "bad"? who are you to judge? you are probably the same teenage malcontents who complain that you are unfairly judged by clothing, hair, race, sexual orientation, religion, etc.... you spout quasi-political rhetoric about "equality"... yadda yadda yadda how hypocritical that you judge a damned drummer as "evil" because he sued morrissey.

Nice job NECK! Once again you make an idiot out of yourself by posting your worthless comments. Everyone knows the judge in that case was biased against Moz. Joyce, Rourke, Marr, they get some credit for helping Moz early in his career, but enough already. They got their credit, the other two sued Moz, it's over with. If it wasn't for Moz's post-Smith's music, he would probably have been forgotten by most. Have you ever gotten over your fetishes? Of course you talk about teens who have sexual problems because you are one yourself. I've had all I had to say to you...be-gone! But I don't agree with the notion that Joyce is evil, he's just a damned drummer loser!

Morrissey surely doesn't need to wish Joyce a happy birthday or buy him presents anymore. That million quid should cover it for a while! In fairness though, Mike Joyce was (is???) an excellent drummer, and anyone who slags him off should stick on 'The Queen Is Dead' to see how important he was to the Smiths. Okay, he didn't write the songs, but it wouldn't have been the same without him would it ?

Mozzer doesn't need to wish Joyce a happy birthday. That million quid should cover all birthdays & Christmasses for a while! In fairness though, Mike Joyce was (is???) a superb drummer, and anyone who feels the urge to slag him off should listen to The Queen Is Dead to remind themsel;ves how important he was to the band. Okay, he didn' wtite the songs, but they couldn't have done it without him.
