Morrissey-solo's last update (in the current format)

The front page technical redesign which I've briefly mentioned a few times before is very near completion. The code is in place and I just have a few things to clean up, I imagine the switchover will be sometime this weekend, probably on Sunday.

This is probably the biggest change I've ever made to the site -- something that I've been preparing for in the last year and something I've been working nonstop on in the last couple months. In order for the system to work well you'll need a login name, so think of what you want to use (this is separate from the discussion board / chat logins). The new login system will be very easy to work with.

Unless something urgent comes up this will be the last update until the switchover.

Good luck David - as someone responsible for the day to day upkeep and improvement of a WAN, I know how big Sunday is for you - Judging by the site your skills will be more than enough for anything the pesky gremilns will come up with!

No screenshots at the moment. The page actually won't look all that different - most of the changes are in the code backend and it allows for stuff like customization. I still have a lot of work to do but I'm still shooting for this weekend (maybe sooner). Thanks.
