the tickets go on sale.
From Sven Keiselt:
I´ve just
received my tickets for the Hamburg gig and it seems like
they have changed the club where Moz will be playing.
The new venue is the "G1".

"p@n1c" - nutty electro-industrial cover by boole
From Brad Barkett:
I have
been a fan of Morrissey and the Smiths since about 1986.
Someone convinced me and my band boole to do an electro-industrial
cover of "Panic," and the song is getting more
DJ play than we expected...

Smiths in the NFL
From Jake:
"How
Soon Is Now" was used by FOX last night (8/29) to
lead into their broadcast of the Denver Broncos / Dallas
Cowboys preseason (American) football game. They played a
good two minutes of the song while a commentator hyped up
the game.
And from Jeremy Brott:
Well
tonight I had the tv on while I was in the kitchen... it was
on FOX and I was hoping to watch the Simpsons like every
Sunday night. Well it just so happens that they were
cancelled for a football game I guess... while I was in the
kitchen I can still hear the TV and I was shocked that in
the opening segment of the game I could here nothing other
than "How Soon is Now" as background music!!! It
was just like the Nissan commercial, the riff and stuff
played over and over.
I wonder what is next... Nissan commercial... NFL...
presidential inauguration song?!?!!?
