From Scab Boy:

Just to let people know a programme about The Smiths/Morrissey/Electronic entitled 'Later On With The Smiths' was broadcast on British cable channel, UK Arena last night 12th Dec. Fortunately for those who missed it, it is being repeated on the same channel 19th Dec at 1.50am. It featured Top Of The Pops appearances, Late Show appearances, Whistle Test etc & had most performances in their entirety.

Sounds great. Will it be playing on MTV-US??
Yeah, right after the new Will Smith Video.
I saw the words..."I almost believed you."
written on a club flyer last night and can't
think for the life of me what band coined it. Does anyone know??

i think that should be the next question on the ongoing poll-who is the most despised performer among the moz faithfull?-will smith has got to be among the top (or bottom)along with clapton, elton and billy joel at least for me......

I soo agree about Will. I wish the gangsta rappers who make decent rap music would kick his ass! he's so smug "I never curse on a record" ugh! and no amount of million dollar videos can mask how poor a piece of sh*t like "Miami" is.

Yeah, I think Morrissey and Will Smith should do a duet. And put it out on K-Tel records. The funny thing is that every Morrissey fan would buy it because they can't resist. And another funny thing, is that somehow it would probably sound good since Morrissey is on it.

Well-
.....about a thousand or so songs have the line "I almost believed you" in them. You are probably thinking of the New Order tune from the album "technique". The name of the song is Guilty Partner. The lyric is : "You once said to me that I was a cruel man, and you know I almost believed you." As for Will Smith, you all seem very immature. Music is meant to entertain, no matter what the "format". He is very good at what he does wether you like what he does or not! Just remember that as you head out to toil the day away at your meaningless job, Will is laughing his way to the bank! (and probably gettin' jiggy with the tellers). Your beef should be with MTV not the performers on MTV. =)

goodbye to you my trusted friend
