Geez, I really do hope he makes it over to the east side. Lord knows Miami will welcome Morrissey with open arms. Heck, I'll jump on him if he would want me to. He should at least make it to Miami. He doesn't even have to stay for any other Florida cities. I know, I am greedy :)

I hope it's true. Was truly disappointed to get to a cancelled show in Vegas. And let's all hope its not near the end of Dec. It'll be madness in Vegas during that time, what with the new millenium and all, not to mention the trouble of finding a vacant hotel.

This is great news. I figured he would have to redo this show. My question is this! IF YOU were at the Vegas show that got canned and you traveled a great distance, will you go again? I'm a 4hr plane ride away. Plus hotel, food, etc...it gets pricey. I was thinkin' about doin' it..anyone want to help in my choice by saying "i went the first time, and I came along away, I'm goin' again!" That's what I keep on saying to myself at least. I didn't really breath hate or fire at anyone in Vegas(let alone Moz or moreso Alain) but I do want to thank them if they do return and do the show(s!!) justice.Hope to see you there...maybe.

I hope he comes to the warfield in San Francisco. His last shows there were great. If not, I guess I'll have to make the trek out to Vegas.

Insatiable One (#9), I went to the first Vegas show and I won't be going back. As much as I would like to go back, I really can't afford another trip. Sorry if that doesn't help your decision much. I guess that I'm going to hope for the best with the rumored east coast dates and wait for him to come to NY or Boston so I can drive there. Good luck with your choice, and if I had the means I would return to Vegas, I think that it will be quite a show.

yeah, i would go if it was somewhere in driving range. i just can't keep picking up and going like this because the means comes to an end. we have our choice of having moronic fans maul the band and the subsequent show gets cancelled, the promoters lying to his "people" about what the venue is actually like and the show gets cancelled, or getting squashed by thousands of people which detracts and distracts from the REAL reason i went through the trouble of travelling to the place i wanted to be.if it is a town you want to travel to anyway, by all means go. i would do it, if it is a city you really wanted to see. you won't feel so bad if things don't go right, and it would only be a smaller part of the picture.

Tampa Bay was the last date The Smiths played on THE QUEEN IS DEAD TOUR back in circa 1985 before flying back to London and breaking up. Maybe Marr will meet Moz in Tampa and pick up where they left off!

Oh God Almighty, let Mozz come to San Francisco!!! I saw him for the first time in Santa Barbara and must see him again! I, too, hope he plays the Warfield, although The Fillmore would be a more intimate setting. See all my friends there. VIVA MOZZ!!!!!!!!!!!

The warfield??? Isn't that a seated venue. I would much rather see him at The Great American Music Hall, The Fillmore or even better at Slim's or Bimbo's; you know how great that would be?

Exactly! He must come to Chicago, it's the only rational place to end this tour.

OK SF PEOPLE::::: Lets get real, the american music hall! Don't we wish. That place is too small for morrissey, but would be nice. So i would cross out the filmore & bimbos....etc. The warfield would be a venue to count on. it is seated though.

what'd be really nice is a short stop over in santa cruz before sf...lots of bands play a show here before they head on to the city...nice small venues before the really big ones...a chance to get really close to the audience...

Like someone else said,if Vegas happens in early Dec. it won't be at the HOB. Morrissey's last European date is Dec. 8 I believe. The HOB is booked on the 9,10,11, and 12th. They may play where they played back in 97. The Hard Rock Hotel. You heard it here first.

Lets all hope he makes it to the east coast soon. Im dying to see him again. Hopefully he will keep in the spirit of the Santa Barbara show, that was a great set list, in my opinion.
