How much is the entry to this? And what does a Morrissey night involve?

£2 to get in I think. There's a flyer for it stuck to the fridge in our student flat but I can't be arsed to leave my bedroom and get up and look at it. Anyway I'll probably pop along and see what it's like. I'll be the tall bloke looking miserable.

Jamie, I'm discovering more and more Moz fans every day. I'll definitely be there but I bet you're having trouble getting your flat-mates to endure FOUR hours of Morrissey's warblings...I'm at Oak House in Fallowfield, where are you? Be there. I'll also be the tall bloke looking miserable. Would anybody be interested in re-starting Manchster uni's Moz/Smiths society - I bet there are at least four of us altogether?!?!?!

So this Morrissey night will involve lots of miserable blokes sat around drinking weak beer, and listening to "Heaven knows I'm miserable now"; Sounds like a typical Friday night to me.

Do you think it'd be worth gettting the train in from Lancaster for the night? Does anyone have an idea of a cheap place to stay nearby? P.Z.

WHY ARE THESE EVENTS ALWAYS AT THE STAR AND GARTER ?ITS A PRETTY DREARY OLD PLACE. EVEN MANCHESTER HAS BETTER VENUES THAN THIS TO OFFER. THE CRUMPSALL LABOUR CLUB WOULD HAVE BEEN A MUCH BETTER LOCATION. NO?

CRISIS !!!!!THE ORGANISERS OF THIS EVENT HAVE MADE A GRAVE ERROR OF JUDGEMENT. BBC RADIO 2 ARE BROADCASTING A JACQUES BREL DOCUMENTARY ON THE SAME NIGHT. I WOULD'NT BE SURPRISED IF NOBODY TURNS UP. NEVER MIND.

I recommend you all go, it's generally entertaining (strange people getting very drunk). there's also a guy there usually who just *is* vauxhall-era morrissey - he's got it perfect.also, someone mentioned a man uni moz society. it was done a couple of years ago, lasted a year. we went to salford lad's club, and that's about it. the membership card was fun though.
