Is there anyone besides me that is sick of waiting for a new Morrissey album? It seems like he should get a record contract, and start recording some new material before going out on tour. It needs to be an album of all brand new material too---none of that recycled stuff from previous albums. They need to bring back the Rockabilly sound they had when Gary Day was in the group. And bring back Spencer, because the lineup on the "Your Arsenal" CD was the best one yet.

I couldnt believe when I saw the mexican flag ON the Mozzer himself!!! Could this mean that the tour 'Oye Esteban' come from mexican influence? I thought it was from spain...Could this mean he's considering to play in mexico???

I think it means he really likes Taco Bell and Corona's. Can't you see his wasteline is about to burst open like an expanding sausage casing?

The Mexico stuff doesn't mean anything! It's just another one of Moz's gimmicks. Let's see, there has been hearing aides, tree branches in his back pocket, his standing straight up in the front hair, reading glasses, Elvis shirts, etc, etc, etc...And I don't think he has gained that much weight, it's more so the angles of the amatuer photographs.

I don't think Morrissey has put on that much weight... He's not 20 anymore, and I think he looks perfectly fine. You should all care about more important things, people! As for the flag... doesn't "El Vez" give you a hint?!

Helena, you are right. He's not 20 anymore and it certainly doesn't matter what he looks like when he consistently puts out music that in my opinion is always an instant classic (at least for me that is). It was shallow on my part to write those things, based on a picture that maybe distorts what he really looks like nowadays. Come to think of it, I'm probably the one that needs to drop a few pounds. ----Peace----

I'm w/ you, Curious Jorge! Moz better put out a new album OR ELSE. In Tempe I gave him a letter & tape asking him to invest in my next recording, but he didn't respond so all I can hope is if he's just concentrating on himself he better let us hear those new songs! I love Moz shows, don't get me wrong, but it's kinda boring w/o any new songs. I'm a sucker, I bought enough tickets. Oh well.

Hi! My name is Garrett. If anyone in the greater Tampa Bay area is interested in coming over to my house for a hurricane party tonight I plan on playing all Smiths and Morrissey cds while we wait out terrible Irene. I plan on going around the neighborhood today and collecting all stray bunnies, squirrels, cats, ferretts, ducks and injured animals and put them in my garage so they will be safe (a little Garrets Ark if you will) There will be a 3 dollar charge at the door for bread and lettuce for the animals. There will also be a "quiet room" for anyone who wishes to read while we dance in the next room. If anyone is interested leave your email address and I will contact you. Lets make this a success together!!!! Thanks.

Yes it IS the same... and during the Cologne show he "wasted" two of 'em... one during the last song and one during the encore. From the encore t-shirt I know it has been torn to pieces, cuz I have a piece of it. Pretty crazy actually, if you really think about it, but I prefer not thinking about it too much ;) Overall, still a great chest for the fact that he's 40, I'd say!

The Mexican flag on Morrissey's belt and the crappy fans that traveled from LA who had no respect for the fans who waited all day for spots in the front was the only thing that sucked about the Arizona show. And oh yeah, he played Roys Keen, Trouble Loves Me, Reader Meet Author, Lost, and Now My Heart Is Full. Last Night I dreamt was the most horrible Smiths song he could have chose to play live. He didn't even play the intro which is the best part of the song in my opinion. All of these songs I mentioned pretty much suck or I am tired of hearing live. Thank God he played Hairdresser On Fire, Is It Really So Strange, Your Gonna Need..., and The Edges Are No Longer Parallel.
Tired Of MORRISSEY'S stupid crap!!!!

I know alot of the newer fans think Now My Heart Is Full is such a great song, but I think it sucks. It Especially sucks live. Every time I hear the song live, the begining sonds like REM's Radio Song, which came way before NMHIF. "Loafing Oafs in all night Chemists", "But Bunny I Loved You". Morrissey used to have intelligent things to say before he wrote Vauxhall And I. When that album came out, it depressed me to know that Morrissey wrote an album that was so far away from his earlier standards. Lifeguard Sleeping is truely the best song off of that album.

hi guys! how lucky you are... just a question: how come that moz play smiths' songs? is he allowed to? won't he have any troubles with the others members of the smiths? wiht j. marr for example? nevertheless i think that's really good for fans.

The Mexican thing comes from the show he did in Irivine, CA a few years back. He turned to the crowd, between songs and said "I wish I'd been born Mexican, but I guess it's too late for that now." He must be on a latin kick. He has to be. It's his core audience in LA. And the old songs are still great, new or not!-Daper

A low wind may blow,David, good shot. Fellow Moz fans please stop "wineing". I am so glad the Great Moz still tours regardless of his weight and accessories. I hope to see his performances outlive me. It's been 16 years on, and on my part there's no quiting. Here in cold Toronto disco is still the strong hold, "...but would I ever want Morrissey to become mainstream?, it was bad enough when The Hip made it". other comments: if you hardcore sober fans want a new Smiths/Moz experience then program the all his longest songs, ie. "..Maudlin Street,Southpaw" and smoke a nice slow one.(Not a very progressive thing to do, but hec look what his lyrics have done to my life) With a smirk, JJR

Morrissey has lost weight actually. I saw him in SD for the "Maladjusted" tour and he had definitely put on a few. No way in hell he would have taken his shirt off then. He looks great now.As far as his Mexican comments and buckle, there is a HUGE Mexican-American (and Asian-American) fan base in Socal. I noticed that years ago. I fall into neither catagory, but for Morrissey to acknowledge them makes me...Proud actually. Proud of him for noticing. His first words after taking the stage in SD were: "Sandy Gringo!". Hell, even THAT stoked me. HF

Luka,That's a good question. I have no idea. I have seen (had to think about this) 6 Morrissey shows in Socal and there have always been a lot of Hispanic people there. Well groomed, well behaved, cool people. I can understand why Morrissey would want to live in Socal. If people loved me in London, I'd be there in a second. HF
