Warren, you need to grow up. No need to put others down. Didn't you hear Morrissey's line about" It takes strenght to be gentle and kind." Always trying to rain on everyone's parade. It's a shame that a discussion board as good as this one has to be contaminated by your filth. Anyways, Late night on Maudlin Street is a wonderful song. Probably one of Morrissey's Best.I'm with you Ken, I wish he play's it also.

I wouldn't get too worked up over Warren guys - he will probably never be able to see one of his shows - he will just keep getting on this site to complain about how he always chooses the wrong cities. Like MOZ just sits around and tries to fit Chespaw in his tour - right!

Bear, Don't be such a total loser. I didn't say LNOM street was a bad song I just said of all the songs to wish for this wouldn't be the one. Moz has a whole bunch of other (better) songs to choose from. Oh and for the record I have seen Moz twice (last tour) and shook his hand at the hotel he stayed at. There were only 3 people waiting for him. He shook our hands while nibbeling on his upper lip, thanked us for coming to the show. I didn't even have him sign the poster I was holding cause I forgot it was in my other hand. That is the truth OUTTTTTTTT

I'm devastated. I moved from southern california to the east coast the month before Morrissey plays Indio. WILL HE PLAY ANYWHERE ON THE EAST COAST? Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, D.C., have gun, I will travel. Additionally, I heard he often took trips to San Diego while living in L.A. Anyone know where? (I hear he eats pasta there. That's my permanent home). Thanks.

What an Amazing Show. I have seen Morrissey 6 times and The Smiths twice and this was by far the best performance I have ever seen by Morrissey. Band was very very tight, and sounded great!! No New Songs, but some great Smiths and Solo songs I have never seen him perform. Set List as Follows:1. Intro: Drum Intro to The Operation 2. Your Gonna Need (Someone on Your Side) 3. Boy Racer 4. Billy Budd 5. Reader Meet Author 6. Is It Really So Strange (!!!) 7. Hairdresser On Fire 8. Now I am a Was 9. Sunny 10. Speedway 11. The Edges are No Longer Parallel 12. Now My Heart is Full 13. Alma Matters 14. Roy's Keen 15. Tomorrow 16. Meat is Murder (!!!) 17. Trouble Loves Me 18. The Teachers are Afraid of the Pupils 19. Break Up the Family 10 Minute Break 20. Encore - Last Night I Dreamt that Somebody Loved Me. This was the Longest show I have ever seen Morrissey or The Smiths do. None of that 55 Minutes and out here... This was at least 1 Hour 40 Minutes... I didnt time it though. Anyway.. to all you People who wrote you wouldn't go to Arizona even for Morrissey, well, you missed Out... By the way, Morrissey Loves Arizona... He's vacationed here many times and shot the video for My Love Life here whilst on Vacation. What a Great show!! Butterfly

First of all would people stop throwing "it" right in my face!! What the hell is wrong with half you people? Give it a rest won't you. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't believe he really played. Last night at midnight I thought "Holy @#!!!, Moz is just about to go on stage in Arizona. Why the hell would Arizona???" That set list is pretty awesome, I really thought there was going to be more Smith songs though. Does he leave for Europa right after Coachella. If he and the band were "very very tight" there is no way he is playing with Jackass Johnny on Saturday. Quote me on that. OUTTTTTTTTTTT!

The show was unbelievably great!!!! You've already seen the setlist, so here are just a few of my observations. Morrissey looked great, from his hair down to his waist, the moment he ripped off his shirt and tossed it into the crowd, people went nuts. The crowd was really into it, it got a little rough in the middle of the floor, a good amount of pushing, but I attribute that to total enthusiam. Moz was having a blast playing for us, you could see him smiling and laughing a lot. Letting the crowd fill in a few words on occasion. I think we were lucky because he had so much energy and I hope he can keep it up through the whole tour. For those of you who don't believe in the setlist, it works GREAT!!!! Remember, he's not touring to promote anything, so these are songs he picked because he loves to sing them, and it shows. It really makes a nice difference. Security was great, I don't think they were too rough with anyone, a few people got to the stage, some made it to Moz. About 3 girls got to him at once and he fell down, but he came through it and continued singing. Fortunately for all concerned. So, to those people that absolutely must get on the stage, be GENTLE, don't mob him so bad that he walks off and ruins the show for the rest of us.Well, those are a few of my observations, I'm still on cloud nine!!!!! It was great to have him play sooo long.

Rob,My wife saw it better than I did, he looked like he came through it fine, but she said it looked like they hurt his side a little bit. Security was great, just a little outnumbered on that rush. Like I said, anytime your security with Moz, you know he won't put up with roughing the fans so you have to find this balance of protecting him and not hurting anyone. I thought they did very well. One additional comment I just remember. The lighting wasn't the best, their were really no lights shining on his face, so easy for him to work, but hard to see him at times when the lights behind him were cranked up.

I was at the show last night and it was great. Loved it. I was up on a pillar for a third of the time, then I tried to make it through the crowd. I'm only 5'2" and no one was budging. *sigh* I did pass up someone in the show with a tape recorder in hand. Who were you? I want a copy!!

I would like to send a huge THANKS to a cool guy named Roy who helped me join the "Moz Club." If it wasn't for him I would have never been able to touch Moz. It was the last song of the oncore. Moz was in a old navy uniform. All black with some chevrons. I almost fell fact first when Moz pulled me over the barriers. The secruity guy was pretty cool about it, he didn't try to break me. Securtiy was pretty cool the whole night with the stage invasions. except when that one girl almost knocked Moz off the stage. They had to drag her off. The concert was absolutely AWESOME!!!!! I never seen Moz so pumped up at a live concert. I can't explain it, I went to the state fair concert and he was a little more mellow last time, but still really good. He was so full of energy and playfulness. The band was too. Boz and Gary were having a good time too. I can't believe he almost played 2 hours of all my favorite songs and with such heart felt emotion. I met David (Morrissey-solo.com) at the concert too. He was in the pit trying to take pictures. So it was a reall good night for me. It is a night I will never forget thanks to Roy. I would also like to thank Roy for introducing me to his friends and family at the concert. They were really cool too. Thanks again Roy, I can't thank you enough for what you did for me.Mike Aka "Eric"

Mike aka "Eric" was absolutely right. Roy was "The Man"! Not only did he help Mike to get onto stage, but he was my stalwart support all through the show. And if that was gracious enough, he also did the whole crowd numerous favours by getting ALL of the band members to respond to his calls! He also identified "Meat Is Murder" for me after only three bars *and* clued me in to the fact that Morrissey was singing "never seen a keener midfielder" during 'Roy's Keen'. Thanks Roy! : )

To all those who attended....congratulations. I envy all of you. And yes, Morrissey is definitely a tease, but he gives us yet another reason to hold our attention. I do hope Morrissey gets himself to the east coast soon, though. To those concerned w/ the presence of "Warren", take comfort--I'm certain Morrissey would be laughing along with the rest of us. Warren is an amusing, daft little creature. So enjoy! Its quite obvious that he frequents the site to the point of having ABSOLUTELY no life....so allow him to "live", will you? (ha ha ha ha ha)

Loke what can i say? The US citizens are pretty smart after all! Look for the new bestselling "book" by OJ Simpson! The worlds smallest book! Oj Simpson- "Im going to find the real killers" Only there you see what US people do in school...

how dare anyone mock the US. why do you think every other country hates us so bad? because we are the best country in the world...and everybody else can't stand that. and what exactly do you mean that we don't know half of what its all about? could you please tell me what its all about? and if the US sucks so much...why has morrissey been living here the past 2 years or so?

Loke, judging by your awful spelling, grammar, and detestable use of the english language, it would seem that you need to spend a few summers in school. Read a book sometime. By the way, the concerts have been excellent.

The same goes to you, warchild. How can you misuse the title of a great Jethro Tull album in such a way?

Morrissey was unbelievable!! From You're Gonna Need...to Last Night...He was in top of his game; very enthusiastic. He also looks alot better now, than what he looked like during the Maladjusted tour, not that he looked bad then. His hair was beautiful!! His voice never sounded better. I was sorta hoping he would have played new stuff, but his selection was absolutely wonderful. I hope I look as good as Morrissey when I am 40!! VIVA MORRISSEY!!!

Jethro Tull Sucks ass too... And if you guys ever think that the US is the best country in the world then you have to explain yourself! 1. You dont have the best military skills 2. More drug money then real money 3. You all live in a fantasy world 4. More then 50% of the peoples are FAT 5. Politics that seams to go FAR left sometimesSo please shut up! PS: Warchild doesnt come from the Jethro Tull album!

OK, spelling, grammar, I would like to see you spell my native language.Further more, Mikeidge, I know that Mozz has been living in the US for the past two years, it's sad that he has left his mothercontry for something much worse. And everybody does not hate you because you claim to be the best country in the world, it is simply cause you act as the world police, you have got such great resources but the way you spend them is crazy.Look at all the poverty wich is the root to everything else, violence, drugs etc.So great, I don't think so.But back to Mozz, he is the man no matter were he lives, I hope he sticks to that setlist when visiting our fabulos Europe......

Loke and Warchild, you know what, if your weak ass little bitch of a country wouldn't be such pussies and help out instead of relying on the U.S. to do everything we wouldn't have to. We saved your sorry little country and the rest of the world from the Nazis and you guys have done nothing. We whipped your country's ass when we had no real army and we can still whip your country's ass. How dare you refer to our military as having no skills. We could take on the whole world and not loose. So why don't you join the army, be a man, and let an american stay home. We don't want to police the world, we want to do our own thing. Who's going to take over for us, certainly not France. They can't even win their own wars or fight their way out of a paper bag. Britain? Britain will only do it if the U.S. goes. So what are you saying? You're as stupid as your country is militarily weak. So why don't you die and make room for somebody who will make that differance. I know you won't, because all you do is complain about everything.I would much rather snowboard, play football, and hang out with my friends than save another @#!!!ING COUNRTY LIKE SOMALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!! So shut the @#!!! up becuase you don't have any idea what you are talking about you weak little @#!!!s!! Now what????????????

DAN What can i say? oki let me put it this way: First of all you didnt save our asses from the nazis! Becouse Im from a country called Sweden so that puts you in a stupid position! Caus Sweden wasnt in the god damn war! Second thing is about the army question! Sweden is taking down their military stuff so the places for peoples joining the army is going down! And Third dont ever think that the US could conquer the whole world! ok they are pretty damn good but hey arent you dreaming now? So lets take it easy now and forget the whole thing! I also rather go have fun with friends and stuff like that so peace brother!

Dan, you are a sad figure, you are obviously a violent type, unable to have a normal verbal discussion, you probably haven't got any education, you are living on social welfare and spends the days at the beach with your friends.I feel sorry for you, so cut your hair and get a job and start paying something back to society.....
