I don't think that I'll be too heartbroken about the split of electronic. To this point I've been a disbeliever about the possible Moz/Marr reunion, but there seems to be so much speculation about it in many different places. I wonder if any of this speculation is fueled by truth, or if it is all wishful thinking due to the possible appearance of both men at Coachella.

I don't think the Smiths will reunite. I'm not sure if I want them to either. Look, both Moz and Marr are REALLY busy right now, do you think they've got time to resurrect a more than 10 years old band?

Warren, you've got a point, but that doesn't mean that he will reunite with Marr now, au contraire. Remember, "The Smiths is dead boys". I don't think they've ever been more far away from a reunion. All the things they've said lately about how they absolutely won't reunite, it pretty much sums it up. Oh well, we can read the news tomorrow about the tour premiere, and we'll see if Johnny was with him.

well, actually, the chances of a reunion between moz and marr have never looked better. look at coachella...it's perhaps the first time in 12 years that marr and mozzer will be performing within a 1 mile radius of each other. if anything, you'd think the tensions between moz and marr have died down...in fact, both have reportedly stated in earlier interviews that they still keep in touch from time to time. i'm still skeptical of a reunion performance in coachella, but if it's gonna happen anywhere, coachella would be the place (as opposed to any other venue in the moz tour), considering that both moz and marr have engagements for that particular venue.

Marr hasn't been very successful since his split with Morrissey...Part of me would love them to reunite but if you really think about it,things would not be the same at all...we will never get The Smiths back...we just may be up for a huge disappointment.

I am sorry - could you guys be more focused on MOZ and Marr getting back together - I mean WHY? I loved the Smiths too - but they have both repeatedly said that they will not get back together - so why dwell people!!! It seems so absurd to me to constantly, no matter what the topic, read at least once a day " Do you think they will reunite -how awesome!" Doesn't anyone have anything more interesting to think about?

Joyce - get a clue! This is Moz central! We live and breathe for any news regarding the one and only! Because of this fact, we also long for the news of Marr and Moz together, again! WHen I first heard the rumor - I was not able to eat or sleep for about three days! And now, I log into this site about every five minutes 24 hours a day to learn any new news reagrding this issue. Sure, I don't have a life outside of Morrissey-solo.com but it is so safe and warm in here. Why won't you join me???

My god Ina! Get a life. I am sorry that you feel so motivated by this site - but this should simply be used for entertainment alone. You need to cut the apron strings my friend.

Ina - I am so with you. Before this site I only had my denim steelers jacket and Fries. But now I am complete again. I live for this site as well and I pray every night for the MOZ and Marr reunion. If they get back together I will streak across their stage whether the audience appreciates my devotion or not.

Joyce, You are as negative as Morrissey is depressing. Happines is a choice you make everday. Please for our sake choose happiness! Its ok if someone wishes the smiths to regroup, they are my favourite band.

Simon - You obviously missed the point of my post - I think it is fine for people to want them to get back together. I also thought it was fine the first HUNDRED times I heard people saying it - Now I simply think everyone is beating a dead horse - So if you find my comments negative - I am sorry. I just get sick of getting to this site and no matter what the topic - the discussion is always the same. VERY MUNDANE!

Well then maybe you need to find a new site Joyce...this is a Morrissey site and Morrissey/Smiths is what everyone talks about. Sorry that you find it so "MUNDANE".

They obviously need Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe back in the fold - they were much better when they had something to do with the songs. PS - Isn't New York City Boy awful.......

Electronic is awesome!!! It's a shame that a lot of Moz fans do not give Electronic credit. I hear people complain about Bernard Sumner in here. Bernard does have a good voice, and he writes pretty good lyrics. Plus, this is Marr's band. He's not some studio musician like he was for The Pretenders, The The, The Talking Heads, etc. Electronic's debut album is one of the best albums I've ever heard, and Twisted Tenderness is great too. Marr tears up the guitar in many of the songs on that album. Marr has done just fine without Morrissey. Though I think Moz needs to get Stephen Street back. It's time for a change.

I wonder if there will ever be an Electronic Tribute. Now that everyone has a tribute album dedicated to them. "Dissapointed - A Tribute to Electronic"
