Mrs. R-

If the show is a ticketmaster event, which I assume it is, you can buy them from any ticket master outlet. DON'T LET THE PEOPLE AT THE OUTLET TELL YOU DIFFERENTLY!! THEY MAY BE TOO LAZY TO CALL FOR THE VENUE CODE ETC... I had an awful time this morning at two places and finally found a wonderful employee at Tower Records that helped me out. I was able to buy my Vegas ticket in Denver. In fact it was really nice not waiting in line for hours for a change! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BUYING ON LINE OR ON THE PHONE! Hope my long winded answer helps....

I had absolutely no trouble buying my ticket for the Vegas show online. I'm in Canada, and I called ticketmaster here and they couldn't sell it to me, they said that I would have to phone a US number and pay extra charges for "crossing a zone" (?), then he said that if I bought it online the service charges would actually be less than buying over the phone. I found the US Ticketmaster website to be much better than the Canadian Ticketmaster website which I have used in the past to buy tickets for shows up here. Not that I want to sound like a big fan of Ticketmaster or anything. Also, for this show there was the option of having the ticket sent in the mail or being able to pick it up at the will call, which I thought was great as my biggest fear is always getting on a plane only to realize that I've left the ticket for the show I am going to sitting on my bureau back home.

What about LA, baby? Is it not Morrissey's HQ, as well as the nation's music mecca?
Throw me a bone here, people!

cheers gregg & shawn for the help. I always use Ticketmaster on the phone (even though I hate waiting hold) 'cos in person they ask you to pay in cash so it's like, which is more convenient, holding on the phone, or going to the ATM machine and the Ticketmaster outlet? But why does Club Rio say the tickets can be bought through Dillard's even when we can use Ticketmaster just as easy? also, how am I guaranteed a ticket if Club Rio is so small?

Hey Fun Lover-

That was essentially my point in favor of going in person. It is a hassle to deal in cash, but I would much rather look that human being in the eye and say "one Morrissey ticket, please!!" Then it is in your hand with no chance of human error "along the line".... I have purchased on-line for other shows with little problems. I once tried ordering "James" tickets over the phone and couldn't get through because some other big event was on sale at the same time. It sold out and I missed out! Since you will only have one shot at it, and it is a small venue, I would get them in person!! Thanks for listening!!

that's what happened to me when I tried to get Moz @ the Greek tix. I couldn't get through and then it sold out! Then I found out they had tix again days before the show. Huh? Strange.

are you still "grrrr"?

Warren - Did you really go to Vegas? Mrs. Splawn has been looking all over school for you! I was actually concerned about you until I read your post, at least I can let your grandmother know that you are alright!

I'll be there too! We should all meet somewhere in Vegas (I am staying at the Excalibur). I MAY have a surprise for all the Morrissey-solo people that show up but I won't say what it is! It would not be a surprise then would it? E-mail me if you are going FOR SURE! I need a total of people please!

Hey Warren - How was Mandalay Bay? Some friends of mine are going to Vegas for Halloween and we are staying at Mandalay - I hear it is loads o fun!
Although you should stay away from the slots and play the tables - odds are better!
