The only information available on this track is that is was Johnny Marr's recording of the song which eventually became Kirsty MacColl's "Walking Down Madison." (4:21, 7.96MB mp3) The final released version of the song credits both Marr and MacColl for songwriting (it can be assumed MacColl's input was primarily vocal/lyrics, which are absent in this version) and that the track was eventually produced by Steve Lillywhite, though it is uncertain whether he was involved at this point of the recording process.

My original intention was to release this as a CD only, and that a CD version (with artwork) will still be available for those who want it in that format for $6 US (shipping included) and to email me (LilBastrd@aol.com) for details. My sincere apologies for allowing such embarrassingly unnecessary conversation to develop on a website which is truly a great resource for those of us which treat it as such and not a playground for bored, unimaginative minds.
