Minor tour details from Boz
Posted on Fri, Aug 20 1999 at 9:22 a.m. PDT

Thanks to Joseph for the forward from Boz:

re new gigs, we'll probably play something old, something new, something borrowed and something red!

And from Joe (a different one):

Hi, this is very insignificant, but I received a short message from Boz earlier today [8/18], and he said that he did not know the dates or places yet for any of the upcoming US shows.

i had sent boz an inquiry concerning the U.S. dates also, and he responded by saying there are "legalities" still being worked through. i wonder if these "legalities" include not having a drummer?

I hope they work out their legalities soon.

I still don't know who Boz is. Can somebody tell me?

Just a quick reminder to Boz. You've got a gig Oct. 9th, 1999 in Indio, CA. at The Coachella arts and music festival. My friends and I will be there waiting, restlessly.

Dale,
Boz and Alain are his guitarists. Spencer
was his drummer but he left. Hey does anyone
know why he left?? I kind of liked him.

Warren

Hasn't anyone else caught on yet? Warren knows so much about Moz/Smiths/Marr that he just messes with us in an ever so arogant way. It's actually something Morrissey himself would do. I just wish, instead of screwing around, you (Warren) would partake in an intelligent conversation about our favorite music/musicians so that we all could perhaps benefit from your vast knowledge of the subject.

Would the real Warren please come forward?

D'oh! It doesn't make sense of why he answers 100 emails with the exact same questions instead of killing it in one swoop by posting something here.

I tell you why Boz does it...Because Boz is kick ass! He's one of the most awesome musicians in the world, one of the most easily approachable, and the real deal. On top of the that, He's a Rockabilly Cat...enough said. Thank you Boz for putting up with us...see you soon.

I'm not saying he's an evil troll or anything. I'm just thinking of the time spent and eliminating redundancy.

I have heard that Spencer now lives in NY and has
a band there. Spencer plays guitar also. I wonder who will play bass, Johnny or Gary? There were
rumours about Gary...?

hey maybe I should audition to be the drummer of the band. I've played for 11yrs now and Morrissey's songs aren't hard to play at all. ok I'll let the fantacy go.

Thank you, Boz, for the painfully beautiful melody to Jack the ripper!
You really swing, man!
