I was watching a music program on Irish television on Saturday and there was a short item about Tom Jones putting together an album of duets and contemporary cover versions [it was described as being a similar idea to Mike Flowers Pops]. I'm not sure but I think Morrissey's name was mentioned but I don't know if it was as an artist that was approached and declined or if Tom Jones will cover one of his songs. Mojo magazine mentions the project but not Morrissey so maybe I heard it wrong. Cerys Matthews of Catatonia is confirmed as being involved.
