Smiths reference in "Model Behavior"

From Peter Payne of New York:

This is from a passage from Jay McInerney’s (Bright Lights, Big City), latest novel "Model Behavior". It is a rather good read at that. It has to do with the main character, Connor McKnight’s girlfriend leaving him.

"She’s gone Connor. She’s only coming back to get her clothes. Plus, watch, she’ll take all the tapes and CD’s you bought when you were together. They always do, even the ones they bitched about all the time. It doesn’t matter that she absolutely hated Led Zeppelin II or LOUDER THAN BOMBS, it doesn’t matter that she always told you to turn them down."

I found it quite interesting to still see them referred to in Literature. As I said before it is a good book and as well as Model Behavior, the books contains 7 short stories. Well worth the buy.

@#!!!ing typical. " Woman meets man, woman hates Moz, woman dates man, woman leaves man, woman takes his copy of "Meat is Murder"". We lived it, and now we have to @#!!!ing read it. Books suck anyways.
