How on earth is there any problem whatsoever with a blanket ban on anon posting? It is how every boàrd I have ever visited except this one works.

Well, I didn't agree with it when it came in but, as time goes by, I see the benefits. Personally I like to see as much comment as possible, some is just opinion, some can be offensive, but that's down to individual interpretation. I'd rather have it this way than a blanket ban of anonymous posting. It's not perfect, no system is, but I like it the way it is.
