Impressive, I probably only have about 50, and I don't really 'collect' in the truest sense of the word (although to be fair I only started buying CDs about 18 months ago, and have no job and therefore no money to buy them with). You could probably get a record player on ebay or something, I've seen them in some electrical shops as well.

Probably, I'm pretty sure we've had a similar conversation at some point. I just have various sets of drawers and anything that doesn't go in those just gets put wherever there's a space for it. I think the only part of my room that's actually tidy is my bookshelf and music collection, and then any DVDs go downstairs in the massive set of shelves in the living room (we must have at least 300).

I always worry about shelves falling down on top of delicate/electric things, my room's in the attic though so there's not really much space to put anything particularly precarious. You always seem to be putting shelves up or something, you must be running out of room!

Yeah, I've been getting tetchy with a few people on here recently, luckily I'm on several other forums (other than this and Quiffaa's one) so if I feel myself getting pissy I divert my attention to one of those and talk about something frivolous instead. And oh dear, I have a shelf and quite a heavy clock quite near to the head of my bed and always get worried I'll wake up with my face crushed, haha.

Yeah...maybe you should do what some people do to prevent/help addiction, keep an elastic band round your wrist and ping it every time you get the urge to do something ban-worthy so that eventually you associate it with pain. Classical conditioning, that.

Ah right, I thought that when people got banned they were sent a message telling them how long they were banned for. But then I wouldn't know...because I'm good, and I've never been banned (yet...).
