New Years Eve

it was spent at home. there was no special party to go to or any club for that matter. i thought it would just be better to spend it at home. the funny thing is i didn't even stay up until midnight. i went to sleep early because i was so damn tired from work. i have been working from last sunday without a day off and i finally have got today off. YAY!! anyway, Happy New Year to everyone in journal land....

Happy New year to you, too! (Score:1)
Betty,

Happy New Year. You can always hope the new year might be better than the old one, and one cannot help but reflect on what happened over the course of the last year, and maybe because of that or because everyone else seems to party you feel lonely.

I know the feeling - and unfortunately there's nothing you can do unless trying to have a good time by yourself. I have had many crap New Years Eves, some of them spent alone or with rather elderly family. I almost spent this year's all by myself, but then didn't. not all the people out are having a great time - while being out, i saw lots of couples shouting at each other, girls crying and drunk people falling over.

So you probably did the right thing. And you got to go to Vegas recently - now I'm jealous.

Take care,
