There is simply just so much going on here! Obviously, the wife died 1st, as her obit says, "She *is* survived by her husband..."; and yet, 16 days later, he died. What makes this interesting is that her obit was written up 1st, but hadn't gone into the papers yet; by the time her husband "died suddenly and unexpectedly (2/22), *both* of their obits appeared beside one another - *exactly* 1 month after (3/22) he dies. Her obit was held back no doubt when her husband also gave up the ghost; one wonders how long he was in V.A. Nursing Home...as it says,"suddenly and unexpectedly" - as in, without her no point in hanging on...They both were born on the 18th day of the month; they both came from a large family of *9* siblings! Karma/reincarnation seems to be at work here...these 2 seemed to have shared a simliar fate.
I certainly don't envy the surviving family members losing them both at the same time, and having to plan their funerals almost back to back.
Gabriella, thanks to your entry, you gave me the *push* I needed to dig up (oh, maybe a poor choice of words, 'dig up') these obits to share with anyone who may be interested.
