Moody; black sense of humour; fell in love with Morrissey in 1985 after I learned that he had also fallen in love with "Hoskie"... I am usually found in solitude.

There is simply just so much going on here! Obviously, the wife died 1st, as her obit says, "She *is* survived by her husband..."; and yet, 16 days later, he died. What makes this interesting is that her obit was written up 1st, but hadn't gone into the papers yet; by the time her husband "died suddenly and unexpectedly (2/22), *both* of their obits appeared beside one another - *exactly* 1 month after (3/22) he dies. Her obit was held back no doubt when her husband also gave up the ghost; one wonders how long he was in V.A. Nursing Home...as it says,"suddenly and unexpectedly" - as in, without her no point in hanging on...They both were born on the 18th day of the month; they both came from a large family of *9* siblings! Karma/reincarnation seems to be at work here...these 2 seemed to have shared a simliar fate.

I certainly don't envy the surviving family members losing them both at the same time, and having to plan their funerals almost back to back.

Gabriella, thanks to your entry, you gave me the *push* I needed to dig up (oh, maybe a poor choice of words, 'dig up') these obits to share with anyone who may be interested.

They were born and then they lived... (Score:1)
...and then they died. My entry title quotes aren't quite what they used to be, too crassly literal. But what amazes me is that the 2nd obit, for Sidney Sr., doesn't mention the fact that he died so closely after his wife. In fact, no mention is made of her at all. Anyway, it looks like a case of him actively giving up the ghost.

Thanks for your comment in my journal. As you may read, Scotty K & Mozette are behind them.

He is a true racist.

Thanks again, J. Razor!

Hey girl!

Very strange indeed.

I somehow think now I should read the obits and am wondering why I don't have a fascination with them. I never read them and will turn the page quickly if I should glimpse a picture of one of the deceased. Why do people put pics in?

Anyway my point of commenting was in the month that I've been to work there has been 3 deaths surrounding the personnel in the office and all 3 were highway traffic accidents in our Province.
So everyday this one guy reads the obits and for what ungodly reason trys to be funny but with the recent deaths you'd think, he'd think! shaking head
