Well after a strongly-worded email to the regional director today I got the call. I'm staying in my current office. YAY! This is excellent news. It does mean I'll be saddled with my old woman of a boss but at least I'll be treated fairly.

As usual with my company the great news is tinged with immense stress. My email went down very badly and it seems again I'm in the bad books. How DARE I stand up for myself? How DARE I rebel against the REGIONAL TEAM! I'm reading 1984 at the moment and my god my company are The Party. They will continue to try to get me to lie down, but I never will. I can't - I've already sacrificed enough of my principles and there has to be a line. And as long as I work hard enough and meet their (totally unreasonable) targets they'll tolerate me. I intend to be excellent at my job, and therefore they can't touch me.

I may be worrying now, but at least I can sleep knowing I'm preserving my principles and character. It's all karma at the end of the day.
